Ocean University of China is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education with a history of more than 90 years, a key university under the national "211 Project" and "985 Project", and a national "world-class university construction university" (Category A). The school is located in the coastal city of Qingdao, which has beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. According to the requirements of the Notice of the Department of College Students of the Ministry of Education on Continuing to Do a Good Job in the Implementation of the Special Plan for the Enrollment of Key Colleges and Universities in 2021, our school will continue to carry out the enrollment of rural students with diligent studies and excellent grades in remote, poor, ethnic and other areas (including county-level cities) and other high schools in the country in 2021. In 2021, the planned enrollment of 85 people (subject to the enrollment plan finally issued by the Ministry of Education), the school will publish the number of planned enrollment and majors in each province on the undergraduate enrollment information network of our school according to the candidate's registration situation and audit results.

Candidates also meet the following requirements:
1. Meet the registration conditions for the 2021 unified college entrance examination;
2. The candidate's own household registration place with his father or mother or legal guardian is in the rural area of the implementation area, and the candidate himself has a local household registration for more than 3 consecutive years;
3. The candidate himself or herself has been enrolled in the county high school where the applicant is registered for 3 consecutive years and has actually studied. Note: Candidates' household registration and student status qualifications shall be examined and determined by each province (autonomous region or municipality).
▼How to register
Online registration: Candidates need to log in to the special type of enrollment registration platform of the university before April 25, 2021, register online as required, fill in the registration information truthfully, upload relevant supporting materials, and complete the registration application. Our school will conduct online screening through the registration platform and does not require any paper materials to be mailed by candidates or secondary schools. Note: Candidates must fill in or upload the following materials as prompted by the system:
(1) "Ocean University of China 2021 University Special Program Enrollment Application Form" (automatically generated by the system after online registration);
(2) Personal statement (unlimited number of words, need to be handwritten by the candidate);
(3) Awards and other achievements at or above the school level (non-required items). The above materials need to be reviewed by the relevant departments of the secondary school, stamped with the official seal of the secondary school (personal statement does not need to be stamped), scanned or photographed and uploaded in the registration system. Application materials uploaded to the registration system must be true, accurate and clear. Those who fail to complete the registration as required and have incomplete materials will not be reviewed.
▼ Selection process
1. Material review and method for determining the selected candidates Our school will review the application materials submitted by the candidates in accordance with the principle of "comprehensive assessment and merit-based admission" (those whose application materials are incomplete and those who fail to pass the household registration and student status review in the province will not be reviewed).
2. The list of selected candidates will be announced through the undergraduate admissions information network of our university before the end of May 2021. After the announcement of candidates with no objections, our school will report to the Ministry of Education's Sunshine College Entrance Examination Information Platform for publicity. The final list was officially determined after the Ministry of Education Sunshine College Entrance Examination Platform announced that there was no objection.
3. The enrollment plan determines that our school will announce the number of enrollments and majors in the special plans of each province according to the number of qualified candidates in each province, taking into account the quality of students and the rationality of regional distribution, and referring to the arrangement of the first batch of undergraduate enrollment plans of our school in each province.
▼Admission Policy
1. Volunteer to fill in: Selected candidates must participate in the 2021 general college entrance examination, fill in the special plan of our university in accordance with the unified arrangements of the provincial recruitment office of the student's place of origin and relevant requirements, and the professional obedience is transferred. Candidates who do not fill in the required applications will no longer be eligible for the special program of our university. At the time of admission, the school will adjust the enrollment plan appropriately among each province according to the source of students in each province.
2. Admission rules: The selected candidates' college entrance examination scores reach the minimum control score line for the undergraduate batch of admissions delineated by the province where they are located (for the provinces that merge the undergraduate batches, refer to the corresponding minimum admission control score lines of some special types determined by the province), and our school selects the selected candidates according to the college entrance examination score from high to low according to the special provincial sub-professional plan announced by the university, and follows the principle of "score priority". In provinces that implement the reform of the college entrance examination, the candidates' optional subjects should meet the requirements of the optional subjects of the relevant majors (classes) of our school.

1. All important matters in the admissions process, such as our admissions methods, admission procedures, and admission results, are decided by the undergraduate admissions work leading group. 2. 3. Candidates must undertake that all materials submitted are objective and true. Candidates who provide false personal information or materials are deemed to have cheated in the national education examination, and the registration and admission qualifications for the special plan are cancelled, and at the same time, the relevant provincial admissions examination institutions or education administrative departments cancel their college entrance examination registration, examination and admission qualifications for that year, and depending on the seriousness of the circumstances, they are suspended from participating in various national education examinations for 1-3 years. 4.
