The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning of high winds at sea at 06:00 on October 17:

It is expected that due to the influence of strong cold air, from day to night on the 17th, there will be strong winds of 8 to 9 degrees and gusts of 10 to 11 in the southeastern yellow sea, most of the east sea, the Taiwan Strait, the ocean east of Taiwan, the Bashi Strait, the northern and western parts of the South China Sea, and the Beibu Gulf.

Defensive guidance:

The Central Meteorological Observatory and the China Maritime Search and Rescue Center remind ships and personnel sailing and operating in the waters affected by high winds to return to the port to avoid the wind and prevent ships from anchoring, stranding and collision, and relevant departments should strengthen port facilities and make full preparations for prevention.
