Nowadays, the growth and education of this special group of deaf and mute children have become a common concern of families, schools and society. In order to drive the teachers and students of the whole school to jointly transmit the positive energy of love, and also to better help some special groups in the society, the special detachment of the guardian "folded wings" angel children to help volunteer service relies on the special education plan of the Youth Volunteer Association of the Intelligent Engineering College to carry out the donation activity of "laughing and faxing affection, warming people's hearts". The event is divided into two phases and two locations, and from October 28 to 29, 2020, there will be a fundraising activity for idle items for college students on campus, and on October 31, 2020, we will go to Hechuan District Special Education School for love "takeaway" delivery activities.
True feelings convey warmth
At this event, many loving guardians sent a variety of idle items to the "folded wing" angel children, just so that the children could feel the warmth in winter. There have also been some accidents in the course of the activity, such as some guardians do not know that this activity does not collect clothes, food and daily necessities, they do not appear emotional, but return to the dormitory to bring idle books, pens and other school supplies for the children; more touching is that some guardians brought their own long-collected toys to enrich the children's after-school life. At noon on the 30th, the members of the special detachment of the Guardian Wing Angel Volunteer Service special detachment also sorted out the donated items with some participants in Meiruo College, and taught a small part of sign language on the spot, and filmed a video of "Heart Language Wish".
Gather strength bit by bit
Philanthropy is a never-ending hike, and when the winged angel children are first seen, the dim light, the bald pencils and the books used to the last page make the volunteers shoulder a heavy responsibility in their hearts. During the two-day unused goods fundraising campaign, we received a total of 425 students from seven colleges. These include children's books, stationery supplies and many cute doll gifts, as well as many meaningful greeting cards, among which there is a small dinosaur doll with a warm heart: "If you have a dream, you should find, hold your pen, and describe your tomorrow", sincerely expressing the hope of the loving guardians for the future of the winged babies; a fairy tale book is pasted with "With your confidence, your cheerfulness, with your perseverance, and my blessings, you will be able to achieve the other side of the ideal, It explains the volunteers' expectations for the infinite possibilities of the day of the winged little angels; a water cup is posted with "Let happiness hug you gently, let the smile be with you forever", and every word is warming the hearts of children.
Love waters the future
On the morning of the 31st, the "Guardian Wing Angel Team" set off for the Special Education School in Hechuan District, and carried out a donation handover ceremony with the teachers of the special education school, which was distributed to the "Folding Wings" angel children, and after soliciting the consent of the teachers and parents, the volunteers will conduct loving interviews with the little angels and shoot a commemorative documentary - "Folding Wings". This small video records the love of caring people for the little angels, and also carries the children's gratitude to the volunteers.
"Give someone a rose, leave a fragrance in your hand". Seeing the bright smiles on the children's faces, the volunteers also laughed from the heart. These small items may be forgotten by everyone in the corner, but they can also bring happiness to others, so that they can build up the courage to face difficulties and grow more vigorously.
The enthusiasm of volunteers is like a ray of sunshine illuminating the life of the "folded wing" little angel, which is a beginning and an opportunity for more people to understand and care for deaf children. Guardian winged angel, guardians are always on the road!
