In the keynote report, Dang Guoying shared "What is Rural and Rural Industry", "Understanding the Focus Issues of Rural Industrial Development", "Preliminary Understanding of Rural Industrial Development in Guangxi", "Market Mechanism and Government Role of Rural Industrial Development", etc.
Regarding the market mechanism and government role of rural industrial development, Dang Guoying believes that it is necessary to respect the right of farmers to choose freely; the target area for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy should be semi-densely populated areas and agricultural areas including cities and towns; the balanced layout of cities and towns; the focus of the agricultural industrial chain should be sunk; the development of modern professional cooperatives across administrative regions; the integration of urban and rural areas in social governance; and the deepening of agricultural reform.
