Wu Ding, courtesy name Zizhao, was the 23rd monarch of the Shang Dynasty, reigned for 42 years, and the temple name was Gaozong, so he was also honored as Shang Gaozong. In the eyes of Confucian scholars, Wu Ding was a holy monarch who was a courtesan and cared for the people, but from archaeological excavations, Wu Ding was a monarch who could fight in battle.

Judging from the oracle bones excavated from the Yin Ruins, the Wuding period accounted for the largest proportion. Judging from the content, it is mainly based on conquest. According to scholars, Wu Ding sent troops to war with 81 Fang states, expanding the territory of the Shang Dynasty from the Yellow River Basin to the Yangtze River Basin. As. The Book of Poetry Yin Wu says:
"Tart Yin Wu, Fight Jing Chu." Go deep into its obstacles and take a journey through the thorns. There is a cut of its place, Tang Sun Zhixu. ”
Wu Ding had a great career in battle, capturing a large number of prisoners of war. As we all know, the Shang Dynasty was a dynasty that was keen on sacrifice. In order to please the ancestors and gods, the merchants would kill a large number of prisoners of war and slaves to sacrifice to the heavens, and these people were called "human animals". Wu Ding, on the other hand, was the emperor of the Shang Dynasty who used the most human animals. The number of human and animals recorded in the oracle bones alone has reached 9201, and the actual number is certainly more than that.
For example, the oracle bone number 56 records that Wu Ding asked the ancestor on the front of the turtle shell: "Can you sacrifice with five hundred servants!" Turn to the back and engrave the sentence "Wang Guyue". It means that Wu Ding, the King of Yin, observed Bu Zhao, and decided to say, "It can be used!" In this way, Wu Ding actually sent 500 "human animals" into hades at a time.
As far as modern people are concerned, Wu Ding's behavior is simply cruel and inhuman. However, it must be said that we cannot look at the ancients in a modern light. Moreover, the reason why Wu Ding used human animals so frequently actually had his bitterness. Because in that era, Eurasia faced a large-scale barbarian invasion, and this group of barbarians was also the famous Indo-Europeans.
The Indo-Europeans, which originated in the steppes of Central Asia, are a semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral people. This people worshipped the god of war, belligerent, and they mastered advanced bronze weapons and chariots. Beginning around 1300 BC, the Indo-Europeans attacked their Central Asian homeland and attacked in three directions: east, west, and south.
In the west, the Indo-Europeans invaded Europe, destroying the ancient Greek Mycenaean civilization, and then occupying the forests of Central Europe to form the powerful Germanic peoples in the future; in the south, an Indo-European group of self-proclaimed Aryan peoples poured into India like a tide, destroying the Harappan civilization.
In order to suppress the indigenous people of India, the Aryans established a brutal caste system, dividing the people into five classes: Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vedas, Sudras, and The Untouchable. Of course, the Aryans occupied the two high castes of Brahmins and Kshatriyas and brutally oppressed the inferior castes made up of indigenous peoples. To this day, the caste system remains a chronic disease of India's development, with lower castes living humiliating and miserable lives.
In the east, the Indo-Europeans, with their mighty chariots, conquered the western region of today and conquered the local Tocharians. Subsequently, they drove the Tocharians to continue eastward along the Hexi Corridor and forced the Zhou people to continue to move east and south. It can be said that in this wave of Indo-European aggression, China is likely to repeat the mistakes of Greece and India and become the next original ancient civilization to be destroyed.
However, fortunately, at that time, there were holy lords like Wu Ding in Huaxia. At that time, the Zhou people were oppressed by the Indo-Europeans and the Tocharians and were forced to wage war against the Shang Dynasty in order to gain living space. Judging from the excavated oracle bones, there were many wars with the Zhou people during the Wuding period. In the oracle bones about "Zhou", words such as "Pu Zhou" and "Dun Zhou" often appear, and according to the ancient meaning, there is the meaning of "Cutting Zhou" here.
In the later period of Wu Ding's reign, Wu Ding subdued the Zhou Dynasty with strong military strength, so the words "Ling Zhou" appeared in the oracle bones. In this way, the Zhou people became the vassals of the Shang Dynasty, and Wu Ding also increased his support for the Zhou people, supporting them as a large state in the west.
With the help of Wu Ding, the Zhou people launched a large-scale counterattack against the Indo-Europeans and Tocharians in the west, and conquered a large area of land near the Wei River Valley, becoming the hegemon of the west, that is, "Xibo".
Due to the activity of the Shang-Zhou coalition forces, the Indo-Europeans seemed to have suffered a great defeat, and a large number of soldiers were captured. Many prisoners of war were dragged to the capital of the Shang Dynasty and became the new "human animals", so in the tombs of Yin Ruins, we can often find skeletons with Caucasian characteristics.
It can be said that without Wu Ding's great talent, I am afraid that the land of China will be poisoned by the white barbarians, and even they will graft the Caste System of India to China, which is frightening to think.
Around the 12th century BC, the tide of Indo-European invasion was stopped in the Hexi Corridor, and the local Indo-Europeans formed the Yueshi people. More than a thousand years later, the Yueshi were expelled by the Huns and drove them back to their hometown in Central Asia. Since then, East Asia has no longer had a foothold for caucasians, and has completely become the homeland of the yellow race.
The existence of Wuding has made China the only civilization in the world that has not been interrupted. Today, Indians and Greeks can no longer read the writing of their ancestors, and we can recognize most oracle bones with a little training. It can be said that Wu Ding was the first Shengming monarch to oppose foreign invasions since China's records, and it should be recorded in the annals of history forever.
