On March 18th, the 2021 "Suxin Service • Wisdom Benefit Global" service trade online series docking meeting was officially launched in Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park, and the Hong Kong International Film and Television Exhibition Jiangsu Pavilion was officially opened. The 2021 Sugang Film and Television Exchange Matchmaking Conference, as the first event, kicked off in Wuxi at the same time.
The Suzhou-Hong Kong Film and Television Exchange Matchmaking Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the Exchange Meeting) is led by the Provincial Department of Commerce, with the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee as the guiding unit, and co-sponsored by the Provincial Film Bureau, the Provincial Radio, Film and Television Bureau and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The theme of this exchange meeting is "Su-Hong Kong Hand in Hand, Shadow to the World", which takes the form of online and offline synchronous holding, with the main venue of Wuxi offline, and the guests covering business, publicity, film, radio and television and other departments and about 100 representatives of the film, television, animation production, cultural and creative industries in Suzhou and Hong Kong. Among them, more than 30 Jiangsu enterprises participated in the offline exchange meeting, and nearly 20 Jiangsu enterprises will participate in online docking negotiations with global buyers.
Jiangsu and Hong Kong have a long history of cooperation in the field of film and television. In 2015, Jiangsu Radio and Television International Communication Co., Ltd. reached a cooperation with PCCW Hong Kong through the Hong Kong International Film and Television Exhibition, and the two sides joined hands to create "Zijin International Station", bringing together the popular TV programs of Jiangsu Radio and Television and domestic high-quality film and television content, covering Hong Kong, Malaysia and other places, with influence throughout Southeast Asia, becoming a successful case of film and television exchanges and cooperation between Suzhou and Hong Kong.
This year, Sugang once again joined hands to select the film and television industry as the vanguard of cultural trade "going out", in view of the current normalization of epidemic prevention and control, innovate the exhibition service model, and highlight the professional characteristics by holding a series of activities such as opening ceremony, industry exchanges, online display, and project docking, so as to promote trade and develop the industry with exhibition, and enhance the internationalization level of Jiangsu's film and television industry. "'Strengthening cooperation in the modern service industry between Suzhou and Hong Kong' is listed as a cooperation plan for 2021 and even in the medium and long term." Among them, exchanges and cooperation in film and television entertainment, culture, copyright and other aspects are an important part of the field of service trade. The scale of service trade in the province ranks fourth in the country, the implementation of offshore service outsourcing ranks first in the country for 12 consecutive years, and the number and quality of state-level service outsourcing demonstration cities, service trade innovation and development pilots, and characteristic service export bases rank among the top in the country. Jiangsu's cultural products import and export scale is the third in the country, the number of national cultural export key enterprises and key projects is the third in the country, has formed a good development pattern of cultural trade in the central and northern Jiangsu regions, which are mainly based on traditional arts and crafts and musical instrument production, and in southern Jiangsu, represented by animation games, film and television production, and news and publication.
Located in southern Jiangsu, Wuxi has the only national digital film industry park in the country, which has gathered more than 800 film and television enterprises, undertaken more than 600 film and television dramas, with an annual output value of 6.5 billion yuan, and ranks among the top in the country, and has now become an important production base in China, a national cultural and technological integration demonstration base, and a film industry innovation pilot zone in Jiangsu Province.
As one of the first batch of national service outsourcing demonstration cities and the first batch of national cultural export bases, Wuxi ranks first in the province in offshore service outsourcing and third in the province in terms of import and export volume of service trade. Since being rated as a national cultural export base, Wuxi has taken the construction of the base as the fulcrum, and has cultivated 17 cultural industry parks with high concentration such as Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park, National Industrial Design Park, National Advertising Industrial Park, and Software Park (including 5 at the national level), forming a focus on film and television production, creative design, cultural tourism and other fields, taking the National Digital Film Industrial Park, Taihu Lake National Tourism Resort and other parks as the carrier, and leading scale and diversified development represented by key enterprises. The development of cultural trade with integration and innovation is in a good trend.
Relying on the cooperation mechanism between Suzhou and Hong Kong and multi-departmental linkage, Sugang jointly promotes cultural trade through this activity, tells the story of Jiangsu well, highlights the characteristics of Jiangsu, further promotes the high-quality development of trade, promotes the cultural strength of the province, focuses on the expansion and quality of service trade, echoes the action of "ensuring the main body and promoting stability", continues to promote the construction of service trade carriers and the cultivation of the main body, and constantly innovates the exhibition service model.
At the event site, Jiangsu and Hong Kong also signed contracts on five projects such as authorized broadcasting of Jiangsu Satellite TV variety shows, film and television drama project cooperation, and documentary cooperation through online and offline methods, involving film shooting and legal services.
