Liu Zhao, 32, is a member of the "takeaway riders" team in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. Unlike other "takeaway brothers", Liu Zhao is a disabled person, and when he was two years old, he was deaf and mute due to fever injections.

Liu Zhao has been working hard, and after unremitting efforts, in 2008, he was admitted to the School of Deaf Artificial Labor of Tianjin University of Technology. After graduation, he worked in network development in Shijiazhuang for 6 years. But because the job was frequently traveled, in order to facilitate the care of his daughter, he later chose to change careers to become a "takeaway rider".
At first, the company was not optimistic about Liu Zhao, and no team leader was willing to accept him, and they were worried that he would drag his feet. But in Liu Zhao's view, since he can't speak, he proves himself with actions. He gets up early and gets dark, runs a few hours more a day than others, and insists on going online all day, even if the weather is bad. On October 9, 2020, Liu Zhao delivered 71 single-day deliveries, ranking first in the single-day delivery list of all "Blue Riders" in Shijiazhuang. He broke everyone's doubts with practical actions, and also felt the happiness of being recognized.
The acquired deafness did not defeat him, but on the contrary, it shaped his delicate character and strong spirit. In Liu Zhao's view, sincerity can be exchanged for warmth, living hard in a silent world, and he is not lonely. During the interview, Liu Zhao typed a line on his mobile phone to show the reporter: Silence is better than sound, and I still have to work hard to move forward.
