The subtle and profound ideological changes in the changing times have been captured and recorded through the lens of generations of filmmakers. Through a number of popular films, this theme reviews the series of reform, opening ups and ideological changes that Chinese society has experienced from urban to rural, from individuals to countries.

Directed by Zheng Junli, "Between Us husband and wife" vividly and pungently depicts the conflict between a husband and wife from different classes, showing the ideological and conceptual changes of peasants and intellectuals in the early liberation period.

"No. 5 Garden Street" watches the rise and fall of society through the changes of a bungalow, and outlines the official scenery in the early days of reform and opening up with two characters with different personalities.

"The Day I Left Lei Feng" focuses on how Lei Feng changed the core of the national spirit, abandoning the heroic way of writing and building it into the image of ordinary people.

In his debut film "The Court on Horseback", Liu Jie began to depict the story of the border of Yunnan, exploring the law and the game of people's hearts in a documentary style in the context of rural law popularization.

The small hall reflects Yan Xueshu's "Wild Mountain" and Huang Jianxin's "Black Cannon Incident", the former is an exploration of emotional relations in the wave of reform, and the latter is a black humor experimental work.

In the Baiziwan section, Lu Xiaoya's "Hot Love" tells the frontier story of the reform of the special economic zone; "Yamaha Fish Stall" is full of the atmosphere of the market of street trading; "Male and Female Directors" has a full comedy flavor due to gender dislocation; "Good Big Pair of Sheep" is a bureaucratic grassroots ecological appearance.

The small hall arranged a neuro-comedy "Fake Phoenix" starring Li Lihua and Shi Hui, a love sketch "Long Live the Wife" directed by Sang Arc and written by Zhang Ailing, and a satirical farce "Homecoming Diary".

This month, we use the special topic "The Texture of Poetry: The Poetic Expression of Wu Yigong's Works and Films" to review the creative career of director Wu Yigong, remember him through the screen, and systematically sort out the works of the fourth generation of poetic films for everyone.

Wu Yigong's first "Our Little Flower Cat" created as a director and perhaps his most famous work "Seongnam Old Things" were screened consecutively, with a childlike eye to see through the essence of the times, and the faint sadness is a gentle display of the "scars" with a very metaphor.

In the outer film part, this month is beyond your imagination, in addition to our regular "master works" and "literary and artistic essence", there are also intensive screenings of classic works.

In addition, in addition to the following special planning for everyone to introduce, there are big tricks to hold back, so stay tuned to our follow-up information!

To commemorate the greatest "1994" in the history of cinema, we have specially selected the "Tricolor Feature" to bring you Krzystovsky Kieslowski's "Blue, White and Red Trilogy", which was screened in two rounds for a total of 6 performances.

"Blue" refers to sorrow, but also to freedom. The film about death and life is perhaps one of Juliet Binoche's best performances, and has been described as "you find yourself floating in a bubble and gazing at its abyssal beauty".

"White" is an interesting contrast to "Blue", which tells a calculation and revenge of love, with a slightly vague, fantastical narrative with a Louis Mahler style.

"Red" is a wonderful puzzle piece of the universe, it tells how people meet, how they fall in love, how they live. It's perhaps the most beautiful of the trilogy, with photographer Piotel Sobosinski artfully blending light and color.

In addition to Barry Linden, we will also bring Kubrick's early super work "Killer" in the "Masterpiece Works" section, and the multi-perspective, multi-clue narrative and character setting of the film noir have given unlimited inspiration to later filmmakers.

The "Masterpieces" also arranged two works from Japan but different eras, Masaki Kobayashi's great and profound "Cut belly", written by Shinobu Hashimoto and starring Tatsuya Nakayo, and Hirokazu Kore-eda's "Miracle", which as always, set warm eyes on children.

The Baizi Bay part is the Kusturica "Underground" that we are all very familiar with, but still sold out for the second time.
