The CW's longevity drama "Supernatural" is determined to stop for the next 15 seasons (20 episodes), and the three main actors of Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins first shared the news on social platforms.
Ax said in the video, "We just told the staff that although we are very, very excited about the next 15 seasons, it will be the final season. The past 15 years have undoubtedly changed my life... We just want to tell you in person that while we are looking forward to next year it will mark the end of the show...".
Padarik then added, "We've shed some tears, and we're going to shed more." [We] are grateful and will turn all our emotions into motivation to bring into the next season."
Klins finally did not forget to mention, "Although the show will come to an end, this big family will not stop there."
The chairman of CW has repeated before that if the ratings hold up, as long as Ax and Padarik want to continue the show, they can continue to shoot. The show's latest episode averages 1.5 million/0.4, ranking second after The Flash in the CW's 13 repertoire.
