I believe that many people have a good heart and like romantic and warm stories. Regarding love, friendship, and family affection, I always hope that everything is happy and complete.
But the real story, there are always such and such regrets, some are man-made, some are providential.
There is a Korean movie called "If Love Has Providence", which is regarded as a classic in love literary films, eighteen years later, it is still the "white moonlight" in many people's hearts.
This movie is particularly tear-inducing, whether it is the beauty of the first half or the sadness of the second half, it will make people can't help but cry.

"If Love Has Providence" is a love literary film that tells the beautiful love of two generations.
The film adopts a two-line narrative structure, flashbacks in the form of letters and diaries, telling the story of the previous generation, and then pulling back to reality to tell the story of the next generation, and the stories of the two generations are interconnected, contrasted, and finally intersected.
The heroine's name is Yin Zixi, a college student, and Shang Min, who has a crush on his girlfriend. The girlfriend asked Zixi to help her write love letters to pursue Shangmin, and Zixi integrated her feelings into it and wrote a lot of love letters to Shangmin, but the money was the name of the girlfriend.
On the surface, love letters are the beginning of fate, but in fact, there is a deeper fate between Zixi and Shangmin. It can even be said that their acquaintance and love are the providence of love.
As she cleans up her room, Zixi pulls out a mysterious box filled with letters and diaries, which are filled with memories of her mother's first love.
Zi Xi's mother' name is Song Zhuxi, who is a famous bridesmaid and has a strict tutor. One summer, Zhu Xi went to her grandfather's house in the countryside to play, where she met Wu Junhe, who went to her uncle's house for summer vacation.
Intrigued, Joo-hee asks Joon-ho to take her to see the haunted house in the village. Joon-ho rowed for her first time and carried her across the river to find a haunted house.
The two spent an unforgettable day, but on the way back, they encountered a torrential rain, the boat was blown away by the wind, Zhuxi sprained his foot again, and Junhe could only walk home around the lake with Zhuxi on his back.
It was dark, fireflies were flying all over the sky, Junhe caught one and gave it to Zhuxi, who gave his necklace to Junhe.
At this time, they were already deeply in love with each other, but Zhu Xi was immediately sent back to Seoul. Throughout the summer, Junhe spent in thoughts.

After the start of school, Junhe returned to Seoul for classes. Classmate Tae-so asks him to help write a love letter to a girl who is Song Joo-hee and tae-so's father-in-law.
The girl he likes is the fiancée of a good friend, which is a big blow to Junhe, but he still writes a lot of love letters for Qin Xiu.
Using other people's names to write their own emotions is the same as Zixi helping his girlfriend write love letters to Shangmin. The difference is that there is a real brotherhood between Junhe and Qin Xiu, but there is a plastic sisterhood between Zixi and his girlfriend.
Zi Xi's girlfriend is purely using Zi Xi, pushing her far away when she is finished. After Tae-soo knows that Joon-ho and Joo-hee are in love, he chooses to fulfill it, and even helps them cover up and lets them continue to communicate.
Unfortunately, Tae-soo wants to be perfect, and his father does not allow it. For this, Tae-soo was beaten by his father with a belt, saying that he was useless and could not even catch a girl.
Tae-soo is very sad and desperate, and hangs himself on a belt in the school's infirmary, but fortunately Junhe finds out in time to rescue him.
Because of Tae-soo, because of the portal's view, Junhe realizes that there are thousands of rivers and mountains between him and Zhuxi, and they can never cross. For the sake of Zhu Xi's happiness, he chose to leave, go to the army, and participate in the Vietnam War. Before leaving, he returned the necklace to Zhu Xi.
Zhu Xi chased him to the train station, gave him the necklace again, and cried, "You must come back alive." ”

During a battle, Junhe was seriously injured in order to retrieve the lost necklace, resulting in blindness in both eyes. He didn't tell Zhu Xi, afraid she would be sad.
In order to let Zhu Xi start a new life, he told her that he was married. Zhu Xi finally died and married Tae-soo, who had been guarding her, and gave birth to a daughter, Zixi.
A few years later, Junhe died, and he told people to let Song Zhuxi scatter his ashes in the river with their memories.
The person who sent the ashes told Joo Hee that Joon-ho actually got married after she got married and had a son.
Junhe's son is None other than Shangmin. Coincidentally, Shang Min falls in love with Zhu Xi's daughter, Zi Xi.
The regrets of the previous generation are the regrets of eternity. Xu is also felt indebted to this pair of bitter lovers, so he specially pulled a red line for their children.
At the end of the film, Zixi and Shangmin sit by the small river that year, and when she finishes telling her mother's story, Shangmin can't cry, she is very confused, why is Shangmin so sad?
At this time, Shang Min slowly took off the necklace around his neck, which his mother had given to Junhe that year. Zixi understood everything and laughed tearfully.

The film shoots the beauty of love, the cruelty of reality, and at the same time shoots the most mysterious thing in the world - the fate, and shoots people's most beautiful yearning for love.
