The modern Qin opera "Public Servant" is one of the 22 plays selected to participate in the exhibition of outstanding plays in Gansu Province to promote the construction of a large theater province. The drama takes the cadres stationed in the village to solicit opinions on accurate poverty alleviation work from the old branch secretary as the starting point, and through recalling a past incident of the old county party secretary, artistically reproduces the touching deeds of Zheng Qing, secretary of the Jinshan County CPC Committee, who have forgotten their selfishness, single-mindedly served the people, and sacrificed their small families to take care of everyone in the process of leading the vast number of cadres and masses to level the land and build water conservancy, and has demonstrated the people's public servant feelings and noble qualities of the masses who are "entrepreneurship first, people's livelihood as the foundation, hard work as fun, and honesty as pride" of the communist party members. The main line of the whole play is clear, the stage setting is concise, and the colloquial and civilian stage language is closer to the audience.
Zhangye Qiyi Theater Troupe's "Western Regions" won the Sixth Ministry of Culture's "Wenhua Award", which is the only city-level literary and art academy troupe in our province to win the "Wenhua Award" so far.
