1. White spot disease.
It is easy to judge that the white spots on the fish are caused by the parasitism of small melon worms. In the early stage of the disease, there are three kinds of heating (more than 28 °), adding salt (0.5%--0.7%), and changing water, which are very effective, and there is no need to do other treatment.
2. Black spot disease.
The appearance of dot-like or patchy dark spots on the fish is caused by infection with mold, also known as water mold. At the beginning of the disease, salt and baking soda can be added to the fish tank in half, and 100 liters of feed water require about 100 grams of salt and baking soda, and then add it appropriately after changing the water, and do heating treatment at the same time. In severe cases, a separate medicated bath with high concentrations of saline or anti-inflammatory drugs should not be too long, about ten minutes to twenty minutes. 3. Gill disease.
Most species of parrot fish have a loosely closed mouth, giving people a cute ornamental effect, but it also makes the gills of parrot fish susceptible to diseases, and symptoms such as redness and swelling and valgus appear. The initial cause of the disease is generally too many fish, excessive ammonia nitrogen, and then the phH value is too high or too low, which causes increased gill secretions, congestion and swelling in fish. If the feeding environment does not improve, the weak gills will be invaded by various parasites, such as small melon worms, wheel worms, etc., resulting in fish breathing difficulties and floating head phenomenon.
