Madagascar Minister of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts Rakutu Malala said in an interview with the Express a few days ago that the Malaysian government is committed to promoting local industrialization and is implementing the "one district one factory" plan, and is expected to set up factories in all counties (districts) across the country within this year.

The county is a local administrative division of Ma, between the large district (région) and the township (commune), and the whole territory of Ma is currently divided into 119 counties.
La said that the Malaysian government has made the sugar industry, flour industry, edible oil and essential oil industry, cement industry, pharmaceutical industry and agricultural product processing industry a key industry of "one county, one factory", and 17 new factories have been set up under the plan.
La also said that Ma is preparing to set up 7 industrial parks to provide infrastructure and related supporting services for the production and operation of enterprises, and the first 3 parks will be put into operation within the year.
Previously, in March 2019, President Ma Rajolina announced that it would set up an industrial park in Muramanga, east of the capital, to attract foreign companies in the textile industry and other fields. In June 2020, the Malaysian government released the "Marshall Plan" for economic recovery, showing that the government will set up industrial parks in Itassi and Muramanga, and set up small industrial zones in the local area.
