Madagascar, located in the Indian Ocean off the southeastern part of the African continent, across the Strait of Mozambique from the African continent, consists of the island of Madagascar and its affiliated islands. With an area of about 590,800 square kilometers and a total population of more than 25 million, Madagascar is a medium-sized country in Africa and ranks among the best in the world.

However, what is strange is that Madagascar has no sense of existence in Africa, and when the African Union meets every year, it has little right to speak, and its influence is not even as small as that of Equatorial Guinea, Lesotho, Togo and other small countries in Africa, let alone compared with the island country of Britain, which is also far from the mainland, after all, the latter actively participates in European affairs and has considerable influence in the region and the world, while Madagascar's status is very embarrassing and its sense of existence is very low. First, the race is different from the African mainstream. Although Madagascar is geographically classified as African, its inhabitants are very different from the black race on the African continent, and madagascars belong to the yellow race. Historically, the yellow people of Central Asia and Southeast Asia have migrated to this place, and the Madagascar people are the descendants of these immigrants, so the Madagascar people are not as large as the black Africans, their appearance is similar to that of Southeast Asians, black hair, black eyes, a slightly small nose, and the skin color is slightly light brown and yellow due to the local climate environment, but it is indeed yellow in terms of blood. Because of its skin color, which is different from the black race on the african continent, Madagascar has never been recognized by African countries, and its experience is somewhat similar to that of Russians who have been ostracized by Europe.

In addition to the racial divide, another reason for Madagascar's low sense of existence is the weakness of the country. Because Madagascar is far from the mainland, the degree of foreign exchanges and civilization is relatively low, and in modern times, it has been colonized by France for a long time, and greedy colonists have plundered the few mineral resources on the island of Madagascar. After the end of World War II, France was seriously injured and could no longer control overseas colonies, although Madagascar successfully established an independent state, but because the victory came too easily, there was a vacuum in domestic power, various factions fought for national rights, and regime changes were frequent, which led to the country falling into a long period of civil strife, which gradually stabilized until the end of the last century.

It is clear that the protracted civil war not only depleted Madagascar's only national strength, but also caused Madagascar to miss decades of opportunities for development, and to this day, Madagascar has not achieved industrialization, the country has only a few simple light industries, and the economic pillar is still a small peasant economy with a very low level of production. As of 2018, Madagascar's per capita GDP was only $476.4, ranking sixth from the bottom in Africa and seventh from the bottom in the world, making it one of the least developed countries in the world. As the saying goes, "there is no money in the pocket, the waist is not hard", Madagascar was originally estranged from the African continent because of different races, coupled with the weakness of the country, it was even more afraid to express its opinion on African affairs. As for other African countries, the so-called "non-ethnic group will have different hearts", and few people want to take care of this mess at all. Even if some countries want to lend a helping hand to help Madagascar get out of its predicament, they are often powerless, they are all mud bodhisattvas, how can they still help Madagascar?
