Appearance Features: The head is hairless, pink or black, sometimes with black spots. Both male and female sheep have no horns, a wide forehead, and a large orbital distance. Production performance: adult rams weigh 100 to 150 kg, ewes 75 to 95 kg. The average daily weight gain of 10-30 day-old male lambs is 255 grams, the female lamb is 245 grams, the average daily weight of 30-70 day-old males is 302 grams, and the female lamb is 276 grams. Fattening 5-month-old sheep can weigh up to 45 kg, carcass weight 23 kg, and the slaughter rate is more than 55%. Ewe lambing rates average 185%.

Hornless Dawsett sheep are native to Australia and New Zealand. With the Railan sheep and the horned Road Seth sheep as the mother, the Kao Dynasty sheep as the father for hybridization, the hybrid sheep and the horned Road Seth ram backbringing, and then select the hornless offspring born to breed. Since the 1980s, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and the Institute of Animal Husbandry of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences have successively introduced hornless Daosset sheep from Australia. In the current development process of China's meat and sheep industry, many provinces (regions) have cited this breed of ram as the main parent and local sheep hybrid, and the effect is good.

Physical characteristics: strong physique, short and wide head, male and female sheep without horns.
