British media: Because Erdegaard is about to return to Real Madrid, Arsenal intend to bring in Madison

According to football.london, with Odegaard about to return to Real Madrid, Arsenal are interested in bringing in Leicester City midfielder Madison.

In the winter window last season, Erdegaard joined Arsenal on loan. The Norwegian will return to Real Madrid this summer and Real Madrid are reluctant to let go of Erdegaard, so Arsenal could introduce a new attacking midfielder. Coach Arteta admires Madison very much and sees him as an "important" candidate for reinforcements.

However, the report also pointed out that Arsenal are focusing on bringing in ben white (Brighton), Tavares (Benfica) and Lokunga (Anderlecht), and if the deal is concluded, it will cost a transfer fee of £75 million. So it's unlikely to bring in Madison again unless more players are sold.

Madison's performances over the past two seasons have been remarkable. Last season, he played 31 league appearances for Leicester City, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
