There are many reasons for the wilting of citrus branches, such as diseases, insect pests, physiological causes, etc. Are possible, and the following authors will explain them separately.
Diseased part

Anthrax: After citrus shoots are invaded by anthrax, when the spots surround the entire branches, they can cause wilt, especially acute anthrax, and the wilt rate is high. The cause of anthrax is the pruning of diseased branches, spraying Winji (75% Oxime and Tebutazolin dry suspension), eradication + treatment, and both preventive effects.
Resin disease: After the shoots are sick, they will become brown and dry, slightly sunken, and have slight cracks. Slightly scrape the diseased part, clean up the glue, apply propylsene zinc, tentazol, etc., severely need to cut off the dead branches, and strictly prevent the sand on the fruit during the growth period.
Akathellosis: It is caused by salmon-colored fugue fungus that parasitizes branches, leaves and even fruits, and in severe cases, it can cause branches to dry up and leaves to wither. This disease can be controlled by sprays such as phenylethoconazole, pyrazole ether ester, pentanozol, copper hydroxide and so on.
Plaster disease: mainly harmful to citrus branches and sprigs, in addition to causing dry shoots, but also accompanied by coarse skin, cracks, vine swelling and other symptoms. The disease needs to be scraped off the diseased part, and then controlled with sodium rosinate, zinc manganese, and thiamethione.
Pest part
Black grasshopper: that is, it is known that stinging or egg laying harms the resulting branches, which can cause the branches to die, prevention is the mainstay, hunting nymphs, adults, and preventing tree damage.
Tianniu: including nibbling or spawning hazards, the latter is mainly the light shield green Tianniu, the prevention and control method is similar to that of grasshoppers, but for the larvae stationed in the dry, it should be hooked, poisoned and blocked.
Physiological problems
For example, drought, frost damage, fertilizer damage, root damage, improper agricultural operations, etc. may induce dry shoots, which will not be explained here.
