The ultimate is not Wong Kar Wai.
Pi Ge has always felt that among domestic literary and art films, Wong Kar-wai's works are a benchmark.
Although Pigo does not like those "depressive" literary and artistic films with strong personal styles, Wong Kar-wai's films are "stuffy" and naturally feel. His "East Evil West Poison" and "Generation Grandmaster" are both works that Pi ge likes very much.
I don't know when there have been legends that Wong Kar-wai does not use a script to make movies, and he can shoot whatever he thinks of on the shooting scene, which makes people feel very incredible. But the legend belongs to the legend, and Wong Kar-wai is a screenwriter.
He was admitted to TVB's choreographer training class in 1981, and after graduating, he worked at TVB, participating in the editing of TV series and writing film scripts.
In 1987 he wrote three gangster-themed film scripts for New Wave director Tam Ka-ming, known as Wong Kar-wai's gangster trilogy, but Tam ka-ming later adopted only the last script, the 1987 release of "The Last Victory".

Although it is a gangster theme, the pattern of the film is very small, and the characters are very few.

He plays a fierce gangster big brother named Dabao, who is sentenced to 9 months in prison for committing a crime.
Dabao has a good brother Ah Xiong, who is honest and good to Dabao, but he is a good man without temper, and every time he encounters a problem, Dabao must stand up for him.
Dabao has two lovers – Sister Ping, who has been living in Hong Kong, and Mimi, who lives in Japan. Dabao could not let go of these two women, and before going to prison, he instructed Ah Xiong to take good care of these two "sisters-in-law" and send living expenses to two people at a fixed time every month.
Sister Ping and Mimi are unaware of each other's existence, and Dabao tells Ah Xiong not to let the two women bump into each other.
Sister Ping was in arrears with loan sharks, and the money owed to Brother Cai could not be repaid, and Ah Xiong and Brother Cai agreed to pay it off within three days, but there was no way but to take Sister Ping away to Japan to escape the debt.
Ah Xiong and Ping Jie arrived in Japan, and taking advantage of Ping Jie's shopping opportunity, Ah Xiong ran to find Mimi, another woman of Dabao, according to the address.
After finding Mimi at the address, she learns that Mimi has been tricked into going to Japan to perform expository performances by a Japanese company.
Ah Xiong reveals his identity to Mimi and flees the company with Mimi.
Ah Xiong wanted to turn around and pick up Sister Ping, so he stopped a taxi and sent Mimi home first.
When Mimi got into the car, Mimi dropped a shoe, and Ah Xiong picked up the shoes for her and put them on for her, which was a treatment that Mimi, who had always followed the domineering big brother Dabao, was never treated correctly, and she was flattered and actually had a good feeling for Ah Xiong.
The characters in the movie are so dramatic that a beautiful girl will fall in love with an ordinary person because of such a slightly sexually harassing action, and this kind of fairy tale plot is really rare in reality.
Sister Ping stayed at Mimi's house that night, and although Ah Xiong tried to hide it, the next morning Sister Ping and Mimi still discovered the secret of Dabao's foot on two boats.
Sister Ping then flew back to Hong Kong without saying a word to find the imprisoned Dabao Xingshi to question her, but she was taught a lesson by Dabao.
Since then, Ah Xiong, Ping Jie and Mimi have been hiding in the bar run by Dabao, singing k to relieve boredom when they have nothing to do.
But Brother Cai soon learned that Sister Ping had returned to Hong Kong, so he sent his men to find the bar and take her away.
Brother Cai then called Ah Xiong to bring money to ransom people.
Ah Xiong then went to the door with Mimi and kidnapped Brother Cai with a knife to rescue Sister Ping.
The three finally grabbed the mercedes-benz car of the rich brother and fled the scene.
Fearing that brother Cai would find them again, the three of them had to run to a primary school in the countryside to hide.
During this debt-evasion period, Ah Xiong and Mimi developed a relationship.
The two hoped that Dabao would understand, so they went to prison to confess to Dabao.
Dabao felt that he had been wearing a green hat and threatened to cut the two people off as soon as he was released from prison.
As the time for Dabao to get out of prison is getting closer and closer, both Ah Xiong and Mimi have to make plans early.
Sister Ping proposed to rob the bank, grab a sum of money and then run away.
But ah xiong, who was timid and afraid of things, never dared to do such a criminal thing, and the three of them had nothing to do.
Because of his good performance in prison, Dabao only squatted for half a year before he was released from prison early.
Ah Xiong goes to the prison to pick up Dabao, but misses the time, and returns home to find that Mimi and Sister Ping are gone.
Then Ah Xiong's pager received a message from Mimi, it turned out that Mimi and Pingjie really ran to rob the bank, they really grabbed a sum of money, but Mimi was shot.
Ah Xiong sees a badly injured Mimi in the women's restroom, and at this time she is extremely weak due to excessive blood loss.
Ah Xiong ran out again to help Mimi take the coat left in the car, but hit Dabao halfway through.
Dabao wants to stab Ah Xiong to death, but after some internal struggle, he finally can't do it.
He finally let Ah Xiong go and made a desperate effort to break off the brotherhood with him.
Ah Xiong finally ushered in the "final victory", he wanted to run back to be with Mimi, but saw that Sister Ping had been taken away by the police car, and Mimi was also in the subsequent ambulance.
Ah Xiong chased after Mimi in the back of the car and told her that he would wait until she was released from prison.
Mimi finally heard the shouting and stuck her head out of the car window, and the movie finally fixed the smile on her face.
If we say it bluntly, this is actually a gangster second "Gou Yi sister-in-law" story, although it is very unpopular, but because it is Wong Kar-wai screenwriter, it has also circled a wave of fans.
But because it is not directed by Wong Kar-wai, one has never reached the height of Wong Kar-wai's films.
After Reading It, Pi Ge was very puzzling, like Ah Xiong, who has no money and is useless and timid and afraid of things, what is worth a girl who loves so much?
It can only be explained that this is just the director's arrangement, and in reality the probability of this happening is close to zero.
Among wong kar-wai's gangster trilogy scripts is "Carmen Mong Kok" directed by Wong Kar-wai himself in 1988, and the rest is still a mystery.
And "Mong Kok Carmen" is much better than "The Last Victory", wong Kar-wai only used Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Maggie Cheung, Wan Ziliang four people to build an underground jianghu.
