The "City of God" is the most dangerous slum in Rio de Janeiro, where children live almost everyone has a gun, and any van entering the area will not escape the fate of being robbed, and it has become a haven of violent drugs, and even the police are reluctant to step into it easily. Growing up here, rocket, like all playmates around him, has been surrounded by violence, bloodshed, and drugs. The film cuts into the world he grew up with the vision of rocket, in the quiet eyes of a child who has fantasized about becoming a photographer since childhood, a story of gang fighting, a story of the dissipation of life, a story of dynastic change, and a ridiculous and realistic performance of 30 years between the sixties and the eighties.
