Such a picture is staged every day at the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department's "7.25" Special Action Headquarters for Cracking Down hard and rectifying prominent public security problems.
On July 25 this year, the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department concentrated resources, gathered forces, and innovated tactics in response to crimes involving "drugs, guns, fraud, gambling, and pornography" that were deeply hated by the masses, and launched a war of encirclement and suppression of prominent criminal clusters, battles, and annihilation in the province.
Since the launch of the special operation, hubei public security organs have cracked more than 5,000 criminal cases involving "drugs, guns, fraud, gambling, and pornography," detained 4,565 criminal suspects, and arrested 2,339 fugitive criminal suspects; seized 18.6 kilograms of various drugs and confiscated 134 firearms; stopped paying 10.78 billion yuan of funds involved in telecommunications fraud, and froze 340 million yuan of defrauded funds.
Guided by problems, actual combat, and needs, the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department has successively set up "four specialized classes" such as the integration of "intelligence command and diligence", the crackdown on and rectification of prominent problems, the regularization of education and rectification, and the strengthening of foundation projects, constantly strengthening the core role of intelligence leadership, building organs into new engines for overall operations, and promoting the upgrading of the whole police in the work of maintaining security and stability, cracking down on anti-wire fraud, and so on.
In this special operation, the main leaders of the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department personally took command, and all professional police departments and backbone members of the "four specialized classes" were dispatched to set up a department-level command center. Public security organs in various localities have set up special classes, and the whole province has carried out a game of chess.
The first step in the action is to aggregate and integrate data information. Relying on the "four special classes", the headquarters has concentrated on anti-narcotics, criminal investigation, legal system, supervision, public security and other police departments, carried out special cross-evaluation of relevant cases in the province in the past three years, centrally extracted effective information around people, cases, objects, places and other elements, and collected and aggregated more than 6 million pieces of data.
On this basis, the command set up a professional intelligence research and judgment team, and through the construction of a real combat research and judgment model, cleaned, compared, colluded, and studied and judged all kinds of data, formed accurate intelligence and instructions, and issued them to various localities, providing strong support for reconnaissance and attack. At present, the command has issued a number of investigation and strike instructions to various localities, accurately targeting nearly 1,000 criminal suspects.
In the special operation, the public security organs at the three levels of Hubei Province, cities and counties bundle operations, clearly study and judge the division of responsibilities of the command department and the actual combat department, formulate work specifications, and clarify the police process, from the professional research and rapid delivery of the command department to the efficient handling of the actual combat department, to the strong supervision and backward force of the command department, forming a closed loop of work, ensuring that all cases are settled and not omitted.
