Ze lacquer, is a kind of Traditional Chinese medicine, also known as Five Clouds, Cat's Eye Grass, Five Phoenix Grass, euphorbia in the family Euphorbia is an annual or biennial herb. It is generally born on the edge of ditches, roadsides, and fields.
The whole plant contains milk, and the stem base is partially branched, with a purple-red color. The leaves are alternate, inverted ovate or spoon-shaped, slightly concave at the apex, finely serrated above the middle of the edge, and sessile. The top of the stem has 5 lobes of rotation; the total inflorescence is polymorphic and umbel-shaped, apical, there are 5 umbels, each umbel stem gives birth to 3 small umbels, and each small umbel stem is divided into 2 forks; the cup-shaped polyumbelt inflorescence is bell-shaped, the top of the total bract is 4 lobes, the fissure glands are 4, and the kidney-shaped; the ovary is 3 chambers, and the flower column is 3. The capsules are hairless. The seeds are ovate with a raised reticulation on the surface. The flowering period is from April to May, and the fruiting period is from June to July.
Although the whole herb can be used in medicine, it has the effect of reducing swelling, reducing phlegm and cough, detoxifying and killing insects. But it is toxic, do not eat it casually!
