From August 3 to 7, 2020, I was very happy to carry out a five-day volunteer service activity with the theme of "Colorful Holidays warm children's hearts" in the Recreation Community, starting the first week of volunteer teaching life, meeting the children in the Recreation Community, facing a childish and unfamiliar face, both nervous and excited.

The first day to take them, due to no experience, there are still some problems in some links, and then I led them to play a "you are better than I guess" game, I thought the child was too small, some of the more difficult words they should not understand, but as the game progressed, I found that this is not the case, they are really smart, very positive, very brains, although the first day has shortcomings, but everyone has a very full, very happy. In these five days, we led the children to write homework, do games, do handicrafts, and also held a knowledge contest for them, which made me sigh that their knowledge reserves were very rich, the questions could be answered, and the words were very accurate, and most importantly, through the knowledge competition, they showed their unity side, and the groups actively cooperated to work together for the honor of the group. It is worth mentioning that they are all versatile, can dance, can draw, from them I can find a lot of advantages that are worth learning from me, so I think these days we are learning from each other and making progress with each other.
From August 11 to 15, 2020, I am very happy that the Xinhai community once again launched a volunteer service activity with the theme of "Colorful Holidays warm children's hearts", and unlike the last time, this time it was led by me and another small group of friends to lead six university student volunteers to cooperate, the wishers are very cute, the tasks assigned to them are also carefully and responsibly completed, we completed the work together, and became friends.
Drawing on the experience of last week, in order to ensure the safety of children, we first established a parent group to ensure the safety of children, but also to reduce our workload and improve work efficiency. There are very few children in the Xinhai community, there are only 7 children on the first day, I had some worries in my heart at that time, because if there were only these children, I was worried that some activities could not be carried out smoothly, but as the activities progressed, the children became more and more every day, and the attendance rate of individual children was getting higher and higher, which was undoubtedly a recognition of our work, and I was deeply moved. The children in the Shinkai community are very shy and easy to be shy, but when we got acquainted, they gave us a big surprise, and what impressed me the most was that when they led them to do handicrafts, each of them completed a lot of amazing works according to their own imagination. Lead them to play games, see their smiling faces, hear their pleasant laughter, and the corners of my mouth will rise involuntarily. In the Xinhai community, we also conducted a knowledge contest, and increased the number and difficulty of the questions, but it was not difficult for the children, some taciturn children also actively answered the questions for the honor of the group, thanking the children and parents for their cooperation, let us successfully complete this activity, and for me personally, these two weeks will be an unforgettable memory for me personally. In the future, I will continue to work hard to help others and improve myself in this year's volunteer teaching life.
In order to impress the children and make this five-day holiday life colorful, we have made a lot of preparations, but there are still many deficiencies, so I am very grateful to the children and parents for their active cooperation, and I will continue to work hard to be a qualified volunteer teacher in the future.
