This is the competition site of the aida China 2021-2022 Bestdive China Free Diving Pool Series City Race Shanghai, and the first meeting with Joseph Hsu Xu Yuexiang (hereinafter referred to as jojo).
Dressed in wet clothes, he was working with Master Jin Ming on a series of preparations and warm-ups by the pool.
At 21:32, about 20 minutes before he appeared, he sat alone in the corner with his head bowed, headphones on his head and his eyes closed.
It was his pre-match meditation moment.
The special nature of freediving competitions requires that the pre-race heart rate be maintained at a low level as much as possible. Familiar music was playing in the headphones, and he and his master Jin Ming were accustomed to slowly entering the game in this way.
Near the ot (offical top, the start time of the individual official match), Jojo is already ready in the pool.

The big boy of 1994 is currently doing strategic planning at a medical device foreign company in Shanghai. Years of overseas study experience have created his calm and introverted personality.

The endless deep blue wilderness in the movie "Blue Sea and Blue Sky" is dangerous and fascinating. Underwater is a world of silence, and the closer you get to the center of the earth, the closer you get to an infinite freedom.
Two years ago, Jojo was a person who was very resistant to free diving, and with the encouragement of his family, he had his first freediving experience.
Do not rely on equipment, closed breath diving, only through their own lung capacity to regulate breathing. Freediving is currently the second most extreme sport in the world with the highest risk factor.
The first course, the first three-and-a-half-minute underwater breathless experience, which is still a good result for beginners, opened his freediving competitive road. It turns out that in the face of challenges, the body is far more courageous than the heart.
In October, Jojo participated in the One·Game City League's 2019-2020 Shanghai Autumn Pool Challenge for the first time, when the result was a dynamic double webbed 75 meters.
The other side of what we call the limit comes from the test of the heart. Riding underwater is free, but the process of striving to achieve competitive goals is very "grinding", and in the days of repeated bottlenecks, the external process of seeking breakthroughs is boring.
After joining the Huangpu Military Academy, Jojo will find time to train with Jin Ming every week, and every time he tries to get closer to the limit.

Countless back-and-forths, longer dives, meter-by-meter breakthroughs... 10,000 hours of training time passed quietly in the underwater world.
In addition to free diving, he also loves skiing and rock climbing.

Today, the dynamic double webbing performance has improved from the original 75 meters to 215 meters.
In more than two years, Jojo has broken the freediving record in Taiwan for 11 consecutive times, becoming the current taiwan record holder in the four swimming pools (China), and the pool comprehensive ranking is the third in Asia and the top ten in the world in the aida (international association for development of apnea).
All the way through the way forward, the changes are more extensive than the results
On jojo's free diving path, Jin Ming is a brother and a mentor to him, and it is also a navigation mark.
Jin Ming recalled the scene when he first met Jojo, "He is still a boy with a score of 75 meters, who has just passed the second-star test and can kick out the water with kicks and webbing." In the first race of the 2021 season of this year's One Submerged City League, Jin Ming broke the Chinese and Asian records for the first time with a dynamic single webbed 260 meters (the original national record of 208 meters, the original Asian record of 227 meters), and the results were certified as valid white cards. In that competition, he also successfully broke the Asian men's record for dynamic webbing and dynamic webbing.

Today, Jojo has become the core main force of the Huangpu Military Academy. In 800 days, Jojo's changes were not only in competitive sports, Jin Ming witnessed watching him little by little, becoming open to himself.

Due to the rules of the Shanghai tournament (in order to make the team competition more fair and eliminate strong alliances), Jojo and Jin Ming had to fight separately. Soon after, they decided to develop another freediving team with Jojo as the captain.
Jin Ming's competitive spirit of obsessive love and adventure guided everyone in the team like a beacon.
In a tribute to all the power that transcends himself and to Kim Myung's challenger spirit, Captain Jojo decided to name the team "Taki Sports Team" under the name of Taki.
In this way, the Taki Sports Team was officially established, and it was a brother team with the Huangpu Military Academy. Under Jojo's leadership, the TAKI Sports team won the team three times in 8 scc Shanghai Championships this year.
