Why is Ferguson one of the greatest coaches in the history of football?

He was an excellent decision maker

Sir Alex Ferguson has a natural talent for decision-making, a great quality that any great coach must have, to keep a clear head and make the most correct choices in the pinch of the game, to bring about favorable changes for the team. The most typical game, the Champions League final in '99, against Bayern, the last minute with Sheringham and Solskjaer replaced The Black Winds and Andy Cole and York, which is arguably one of the greatest substitutions in the history of football.

In addition, the Scots showed great courage in the face of difficulties, showing their personality and incomparable authority. He sold Beckham, and David was absolutely hot at the time, both in terms of court performance and box office guarantees for the team, and Ferguson did so to show that no one can be above the club.

And he decisively gave up Van Nistelroo to pave the way for 18-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo to go into the first team.

Excellent management skills

Ferguson has taken his human resource management skills to the extreme, with the aim of building good relationships with his players. His relationship with the players extends even beyond the pitch.

During his tenure, Ferguson accepted players who can be said to be full of personality. There are shy people like Scholes, and there are aggressive and passionate players like Cantona and Keane. Although Cantona had been a headache for almost all coaches before playing under Sir Foff, the Scots had a good control of the Frenchman's temper and their relationship was very good. Wayne Rooney also revealed Ferguson's innate management skills in his autobiography, which is well worth a look.

Take Luo Luo's never accepting defeat attitude and infinite desire to win as an example, where do these come from? Yes, we actually see the shadow of Ferguson in Ronaldo, the Portuguese claim that Ferguson is their second father, and we can also see the jazz's super management skills.

He is also a great tactical master

The Scottish old man loves to do things that are impossible, which have been throughout his career and have been consistent. His first astonishing achievement dates back to 1983, when he led Aberdeen to a 2-1 victory over formidable Real Madrid, lifting their first European club trophy. Remember the game against Arsenal? United sent 7 defenders, yes 7! In the end, 2-0 took the game away. In Manchester United's Champions Cup match against ac Milan, Ferguson used Park Ji-sung to keep an eye on Pirlo, successfully limiting his play, and finally defeated the Rossoneri 4-0. The list goes on and on! He always puts players in the right places.

He led generations to bring the club to the pinnacle

The Scotsman has won a total of 38 titles in his 27 years at the club, but the most striking fact is that he led 4 generations of players in the club's 27 years, defeating the strongest opponents at the time, keeping the club at the head of the league and creating a glorious Manchester United dynasty.

Blackburn was defeated in the '90s, followed by Newcastle, then the reviving Arsenal under Wenger.

Then a threat emerged, led by the young Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, but the Portuguese could not stop the Scots either.

In the end, Sir Alex Ferguson also successfully defended against the threat of his rival in the city, the wealthy Manchester City.

Sir Alex Ferguson - the perfect helmsman

All in all, Sir Alex Ferguson deserves to be one of the greatest coaches in football, and perhaps not in the hearts of some iron fans! The Red Devils' greatest helmsman!
