On the night of Friday, October 8, the WWE Pro Wrestling Tournament was no longer the only ratings champion.

Fox's WWE pro wrestling match, which aired that night, drew 2.15 million viewers and received a rating of 0.52.

Cbs crime action drama "Counter Terrorism SWAT Team" (4.94 million, 0.43) and crime drama "New Hawaii Detective" (5.2 million, 0.40) both rose 0.01 ratings. The crime drama "Police Family" (6 million, 0.42) fell by 0.03, a record low in the show's history, but it was still the most watched radio network program that night.

The season 13 debut of abc's veteran reality show Shark Tank garnered 3.72 million viewers and a rating of 0.52. The news magazine 20/20 (2.72 million, 0.36) saw a 0.02 increase in viewership.

NBC News Magazine Daytime Line (3.07 million, 0.39) saw its ratings fall by 0.03.

CW Magic Reality Show Magic Night (675,000, 0.09) saw a 0.01 increase in ratings. The first episode of the third season of the suspense drama "Nancy Drew" captured 415,000 viewers and received a rating of 0.05.

On the cable network, TBS's live-streamed MLB playoffs los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants that night attracted 3.98 million viewers and a rating of 1.08.

FS1's live-streamed MLB playoff match between the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays that night garnered 2.62 million viewers and a rating of 0.65.
