just, melvin: just evil
A truly difficult movie to watch, Melvin: Just, just tells a painful story of a family struggling to accept their legacy of terrible parents, pedophiles and murder suspect Melvin. Generation after generation of abuse and the inaction of mothers in the family are absolutely shocking. What is particularly heartbreaking is the mother's hint that a daughter with a physical and mental disability craves attention. My daughter sadly recalled: "If he put it in a quarter of my body, I would get a quarter of what I was paid." ”
The abuse of family members reflects their experience in a calm manner, which also extends to melvin's discussion of the murder of only a young nurse. The spectators are the flies and harassers on the wall, who claim to be in the position of innocent confrontation. The effect is enough to run down your spine shivering.
Eight
capturing the friedmans
The award–nominated film captures a seemingly normal middle-class family opening its first two members accused of child abuse. Their world began to unravel when the trap was caught by the teacher Arnold Friedman receiving child pornography.
After investigation, Arnold and his son Jesse were accused of molesting boys in computer classes taught in the basement of the home. A frenzied media attention followed by the release of Arnold and Jesse from trial.
The film, directed by Andrew Jarecki and including home footage, provides an interesting insight into the increasingly tense atmosphere at Friedman's house. Although Arnold eventually confessed to child abuse, his sons and relatives had a strange fierce allegiance to him and their mother with a shocking disdain, who could understand the struggle to come with the dissolution of her family. Is it a son who is legitimately or vehemently denied? You judge.

there’s something wrong with aunt diane
An eye-opening documentary that shows how much we can't cope with disaster, what's wrong with Aunt Diana tells the tragic story of a respectable suburban mother who collided head-on while driving on the wrong side of a highway in New York in 2009. In addition to Diane herself, the crash also resulted in the deaths of four children in her pickup truck and three adults in another car.
Toxicology reports show that Diana was affected by alcohol and marijuana at the time of the crash. Witnesses confirmed that she drove unsteadily for miles, vomited on the side of the road and then entered the toll road in the wrong direction.
However, Diana's family refuses to accept the fact that a beloved wife and mother can put her child in danger while drunk or driving from height. They disputed the toxicology report's findings and looked for a way to clean up her name — a search that continues to this day.

the cheshire murders
This famous HBO documentary explores the senseless horrors of violence in the quiet suburbs of Cheshire after Connecticut. In 2007, two local crooks targeted families after theft followed them from a nearby grocery store. They returned home in the middle of the night to find that the money was lower than expected.
After suppressing the family, the intruder waited until the morning to drive the mother to the bank to withdraw $15,000. The family hopes the money will be released. What happened next, however, was an escalating whirlwind of torture, sexual assault and murder that left only one survivor.
Guilty of the worst, missed opportunities to save the family cops, and the struggle of society to find a record of quite sympathy off. The story is even more frightening, disturbing that crimes can happen anywhere.
Five

shenandoah
Entering Selangor, award-winning photographer David Turnley examines the interracial tensions in the small town of Shenandoah, where Pennsylvania is brutally murdered by a Mexican man in an abandoned playground.
What follows is an attempt to cover up the local police in a town that is absolutely isolated from the world and loves football. After the defeat, the town finds itself divided by those who believe the law must be on track with a man who supports the player's innocence and does not like anyone who believes in the law.

west of memphis
Directed by Amy J. Berger and produced by Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Damien Echo (one of the defendants). The real horror of Memphis West lies in the abuse of judicial power, the phenomenon of false confessions, and the dilemma of false accusations.
In 1993, in West Memphis, Arkansas, three boys were found kidnapped, castrated, and murdered, which law enforcement suspected was a prayer if discovered, and quickly focused their investigation on three local teenagers, Palia, who were quickly convicted. the house of suh
