With the improvement of people's living standards, paying attention to Antarctica and entering the Antarctic is no longer an unattainable dream.
When it comes to how to get to Antarctica, there are two ways to get there, namely by boat and by flight. When it comes to flying, the lack of direct lines, coupled with the harsh weather in Antarctica, creates uncertainty about flights. The reason for the high cost of the aircraft itself will also make the cost of flying to the South Pole extremely expensive. Therefore, the first choice to travel to Antarctica is a cruise ship.
Before we do that, let's take a look at the regulations on the International Association of Antarctic Tourism Organizations, or iaato. The regulations allow the landing of the South Pole to only allow no more than 100 people to land at the same time. In this way, how to choose a cruise ship will directly cause the problem of personal landing time.

When it comes to key cruises, cruise ships can be divided into four levels:
Type c1: A small expedition ship with a capacity of between 13-200 passengers, that can dock at most locations and perform landing activities. Accommodation conditions are average, but the number of people is smaller, and the chance of successful landing will be greater. Because the hull itself is smaller and relatively flexible, the discomfort of sea navigation will be stronger.
Type c2: Medium-sized cruise ship, carrying between 201-500 passengers, with fewer landing points to dock, can perform landing activities. The accommodation conditions are relatively good, but there are many tourists, and it is more time-consuming to land. The hull body is larger, and the comfort at sea will naturally be better.
cr type: large luxury cruise ships, carrying more than 500 passengers, can not dock at any landing point, nor can they carry out landing activities. Choosing such a cruise ship to antarctica is absolutely meaningless.
Ya type: sailboat or yacht, carrying less than 12 passengers, the landing point is the most flexible.
From the above point of view, how to choose a cruise ship depends entirely on the individual's pertinence.
