Convict Me: A Fusion of Surrealism and Medical Shady

The super blockbuster "Captain America 3" attacked the city at the box office, earning more than 600 million yuan in just three days on the weekend, while the domestic film "Convict Me", which was released on the same day, although it did not have an advantage in the schedule, it was a good film that was eye-catching and refreshing. "Convict Me" is a black crime suspense film written and directed by Sun Liang, starring Li Xinyun, Wu Zhenyu, Dai Liren, Tian Xiaojie, Li Zhizheng and so on. Based on a true case, the film tells the story of female doctor Feng Xuehui (played by Li Xinyun), due to the death of her daughter, and the relationship with her husband Fang Wennan (played by Wu Zhenyu) fell into a freezing point. "Convict Me" is a standard film noir, the tone of the film is gloomy, pessimistic, showing cynicism and human crisis, and the whole film is full of suspense, thrilling and terrifying sense of crisis. The heroine of the film, Feng Xuehui, like Natalie Portman in "Black Swan", is weak in appearance and is constrained everywhere, but in fact, she is scheming and ambitious, which makes people guess. This film is the debut of female director Sun Liang, who has participated in the Busan Film Festival, the Beijing University Student Film Festival, the Beijing International Film Festival, etc., and has won the "Window on Asian Films" unit award at the 20th Busan Film Festival.
