This afternoon, the Cannes Film Festival officially announced: Leo Carax's new film "Annette" will be the opening film of the 74th Cannes Film Festival, which will be screened at the film festival on July 6.

The film is Leo Carax's new work after The Hallowed Carriage and his first English-language film, and will be co-starred by Adam Dreyffer and Marion Cotillard. The official film list will be announced at the end of May, and the offline event has been postponed to July 6-15.
