She insisted on self-study, and in less than two years she went from being a "layman" to an expert in popularizing legal propaganda and education; she worked diligently and did an ordinary job to the extreme. Since joining the work, Zhang Ai has gone through 25 years, is the 25 years of loyal practice of the concept of "educating people with law", whether in townships, villages, or to the county justice bureau, with her love for law popularization work, she has successfully grown from a front-line law popularizer to a "leader" who promotes the development of the qingchuan law popularization cause, so that the seeds of the rule of law take root in Qingchuan like wormwood.

As early as 2009, Zhang Ai, then secretary of the Tingting Village Branch of Fangshi Town, Qingchuan County, keenly realized that if the party's policies were to be better implemented in the village and the village customs were more harmonious, it was necessary to cultivate the villagers' awareness of the rule of law. She took the initiative to dock with the county justice bureau and the county people's court, and invited rule of law experts to give lectures in the village. In the on-site rule of law lectures of the Land Contracting Law, the Tort Liability Law, and the Marriage Law, Tingting Village transformed from a small village of poverty, backwardness, and frequent contradictions into a "rule of law demonstration village" in the county. "There have been such big changes in Tingting Village, and Secretary Zhang has made a great contribution!" This was the evaluation of Zhang Ai by Sheng Mingwei, then secretary of the fangshi town party committee.
Not only in Tingting Village, Zhang Ai worked in the People's Government of Fangshi Town, although she did not have a position related to comprehensive management, but with her love for the law, she took the initiative to participate in the work of popularizing the law in the town, and integrated the resources of the village and the community to form a "volunteer law popularization service team" to carry out legal popularization activities on a regular basis. During this period, Fangshi Town carried out an average of more than 100 various rule of law publicity activities every year, and established a rule of law book corner in each village (community), benefiting more than 6,000 local people.

In 2011, Fangshi Zhenyang and Ou had a conflict over a land dispute, several parties were injured and hospitalized, under the coordination of the police station and the investigation committee, the dispute was initially resolved, but the two families have since formed a bond, and a series of large and small disputes have occurred subsequently. After learning of the situation, Zhang Ai took the initiative to ask for help and proposed to the town leaders that he should take the lead in handling the dispute. After many visits and investigations, Zhang Ai figured out that the reason for the dispute between the two families was that the two families did not thoroughly eat the relevant policies and regulations, did not understand the laws and policies, naturally could not distinguish between right and wrong, and neither side was willing to accept defeat and give up. Before carrying out mediation work for the two families, Zhang Ai consulted a large amount of materials, did enough homework and preparations, and took the initiative to invite the staff of the judicial office to participate in the mediation work. Under the dual role of legal reason and reasonableness, the "knots" of the two families were finally solved, and the 2-year-long dispute was finally resolved satisfactorily.

Due to the outstanding achievements in law popularization, in 2013, Zhang Ai was transferred to the Qingchuan County Bureau of Justice to specialize in law popularization. In order to do a good job in publicizing the rule of law at the grass-roots level, she went deep into various parts of Qingchuan to conduct research, and after the investigation, Zhang Ai found that there were widespread problems in the county such as the thin form of law popularization, the lack of prominent focus on law popularization, and the low professional quality of law popularization team members.
In order to solve these problems, Zhang Ai made a hard effort. In the process of continuous thinking and exploration, she took the lead in creating the "three hundred" brand of rule of law publicity of the Qingchuan County Bureau of Justice, that is, to promote "100 rule of law lectures into the village community, 100 rule of law rush day activities, and 100 rule of law literature and art grassroots activities". At the same time, lawyers, legal workers, and legal popularization volunteers were summoned to set up three teams: the "Little Red Turban" rule of law publicity team, the "Little Blue Hat" legal service group, and the "little horn" propaganda team, to carry out legal popularization work on a regular basis. At present, more than 1,400 activities have been carried out. Through the implementation of the "three hundred" activities, Qingchuan County has gradually built a rule of law publicity work pattern of "judicial administrative system leadership and social coordination".
She led the establishment of the "Four Ones" publicity model for popularizing the law by dolls, and through carrying out 1 rule of law class per week, carrying out 1 rule of law literary and artistic performance every month, carrying out 1 rule of law handwritten newspaper creation and evaluation every semester, and holding a constitutional oath ceremony once a year, the "Four Ones" publicity model integrates simple and easy-to-understand laws and regulations into daily education and teaching, and continuously strengthens the legal cognition of minors.
She focused the focus of rule of law publicity on the frontline of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, innovated forms such as "rule of law literary and artistic performances", "rule of law micro-films", "peasant night schools", and "moral lecture halls", and carried out more than 1,000 publicity activities on poverty alleviation policies in 79 poor villages in the county; more than 20 special rule of law publicity activities on "carrying forward the spirit of the rule of law and building a strong grass-roots fortress" in weak and scattered poor villages, creating a strong cultural atmosphere of rule of law in poor villages throughout the county.
She innovated the way of popularizing the law, participated in the establishment of the online law popularization column of "Rule of Law Station Cloud Classroom", wrote and directed more than 100 special videos of the law popularization theater and the civil code, and played more than 5 million times on major new media platforms, and won the third prize of the National Judicial List of Douyin in August 2020.
Under zhang Ai's persistence and efforts, Qingchuan County has achieved good results in popularizing the law, and has successively won the "National 'Sixth Five-Year' Advanced County in the Middle Stage of Law Popularization", "The City's Advanced Collective for Governing the County According to Law", and was selected as "2020 China's Most Secure Top 100 Counties and Cities". Zhang Ai was praised by the Department of Justice as "An Advanced Individual in the Anti-epidemic Work of the Judicial Administrative System of the Province" by the Department of Justice, "Advanced Individual in the 'Sixth Five-Year Plan' for Popularizing the Law" by the Guangyuan Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, "'March 8' Red Flag Bearer" by the County Women's Federation, and was rated as an advanced individual in the county's judicial administrative system for 8 consecutive years.
"It starts with responsibility, it ends with love, popularization of the law, I am not going to stop."
