From October 12th to 16th, the finals of the 7th China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, co-sponsored by 12 ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, were held at Nanchang University. Xidian University's 8 projects highlighted from more than 2.28 million projects from 121 countries and regions at home and abroad, 4347 colleges and universities, won four golds and four silvers and won the "University Collective Award", and presented the 90th anniversary of the school with the best results in history.
The 7th China International "Internet +" Competition was officially launched in April, and the number of participants and projects hit a record high. Together with Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University and all other young makers who have advanced to the national competition, Xidian students use their youth to pave the way and extend their ideals, and show their energetic and promising spirit at the innovation and entrepreneurship event of "co-construction and sharing, integration between China and foreign countries". After fierce competition, the four projects of "Xinxin - Domestic High-credibility Digital Chip Design Verification Platform", "Winning the Championship - Creating a New Era of Sports Fine Training", "Nako Concentrated Energy - Nano Generator Opens a New Era of Sensor Self-Power supply", and "Hongqi Qiji - Artificial Intelligence Edge Computing Leader" won the gold award. Among them, the projects of "Nako Concentrated Energy- Nano-Generator Open a New Era of Sensor Self-Power Supply" and "Xinxin - Domestic High-confidence Digital Chip Design Verification Platform" participated in the top three competitions with the first place in the group, and won the sixth and eighth excellent results. "Creative works based on AI development platform modelarts and mindspore open source frameworks", "Qinyue Technology - Smart Piano Sparring Pilot in the New Era", "Pupil Core - Terahertz Wave Source Chip", "Falcon Smart Helmet" 4 projects won silver awards, "Centennial Red Soul - Knowledge Graph Helps Party History Education" and "Stars Never End - Pioneer of Autism Rehabilitation Integration Public Welfare Service" and other projects won bronze awards. Teachers Tian Cong, Deng Cheng, Wu Jiaji, Yang Rusen and Cai Jueping were awarded "Excellent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentors".
During the national finals, Wang Quan, vice president of the university, together with the heads of relevant functional departments and colleges, came to Nanchang University to cordially greet all the participating teachers and students, carefully guide the participating projects and observe the competition.
