On the occasion of commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Wang Yaoqing, a famous Peking Opera performing artist and educator, he performed the Peking Opera "Liu Yin Ji" with the famous Peking Opera performance artist Du Jinfang, and played Liang Shanbo in the play, which was successful and attracted the attention of the theater industry. In 1987, he studied under the famous Peking Opera performance artist Ye Shaolan and became a disciple of the Ye Sect. He has performed in Hong Kong with the Chinese Peking Opera Artists Troupe for many times, and has visited the United States, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Australia, Hungary and other countries, performing on the same stage with famous Peking Opera performing artists Yuan Shihai, Du Jinfang, Fang Rongxiang, Li Zongyi, Wang Jinghua, Liu Changyu, Li Weikang, Zhang Xuejin, Ma Changli, Yang Chunxia and so on. In the same year, he won the Best Performance Award in the National Young Peking Opera Actors Television Grand Prix. In 1994, he won the gold medal in the Kaihua Cup National Opera Amphibious Star Radio and Television Grand Prix. In 2000, he won the first prize in the National Outstanding Young Peking Opera Actors Appraisal Exhibition held by the Ministry of Culture.
