Defendant Ge Tao claimed to be the cabin manager of the cabin service department of China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd., and in the name of being able to introduce the victim to work at China Eastern Airlines to become a regular employee of China Eastern Airlines, and purchasing a fund-raising house for China Eastern Airlines, he obtained the trust of the victims by purchasing text messages online, sending text messages in the name of "China Eastern Airlines" to the victims' mobile phones, and editing false web pages of China Eastern Airlines for the victims to inquire, and defrauded 10 victims of a total of 712668 yuan.

At the same time, the defendant Ge Tao also defrauded the victim of 29,200 yuan in the name of helping others apply for a tour guide permit.

Recently, the court sentenced defendant Ge Tao to 10 years and 6 months in prison and fined him 50,000 yuan for fraud.
