Su Nu is a goddess of ancient legends. She lived in a similar era to the Yellow Emperor, and according to legend, he was proficient in music, knew the Yin-Yang Heavenly Dao and the Fangzhong Technique, and once taught the Fangzhong Technique to the Yellow Emperor together with the Nine Heavenly Xuannu, which later generations called the Fangzhong Technique "Xuansu" or "Sunu" Dao.
In the Baopuzi Inner Chapter, Ji Yan, it is said that the Yellow Emperor asked the second daughter of Xuan Su for advice on how to cultivate morality. Later generations, there was the "Su Nu Jing" transmitted by the name Su Nu, which is a work dedicated to the health of the room. Due to its age, most of the contents of this book have been lost. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Changsha Ye Dehui compiled the scattered contents into the "Su Nü Jing" from the book "Healing Heart Formula" written by the Japanese Tanpo Kanglai and included it in the "Shuangmei Jingfu Series".
