This time when I came to Ningbo, Zhejiang, a harbor city with a history of more than 7,000 years, I naturally had to go to the traditional old street that highlighted the charm of Yongcheng, so I chose Nantang Old Street, a historical and cultural commercial street that shows the characteristics of Ningbo Jiangnan Water Town.
Nantang Old Street is located outside the south gate of the ancient city in Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, very close to the railway station, but a few minutes by car. Built on the Nantang River, the old street is divided into south and north streets, which is a collection of historical monuments, tourism, culture and leisure, Ningbo's time-honored brands, Ningbo famous specialties and folk customs characteristics, which is not only one of the eight historical districts in Ningbo, but also the "Three Cities of Nanmen" where the old Ningbo commercial and trade culture gathering place was once famous.
