On June 3, Jingxing Paper officially disclosed the announcement of the proposed construction of 2 million tons of paper projects in Jiangsu.
According to the announcement, Jingxing Paper and the Administrative Committee of Sihong Economic Development Zone in Jiangsu Province signed the "Industrial Project Investment Framework Agreement", which intends to invest in the construction of 2 million tons of packaging paperboard, household paper and supporting projects in the development zone.
According to the framework agreement, the Management Committee of Sihong Economic Development Zone will give Jingxing Paper a strong project support policy, and vigorously support it in terms of fixed asset investment incentives and local contribution incentives, and the details of specific support policies will be agreed separately. Jingxing Paper has a large investment volume, and the Management Committee of Sihong Economic Development Zone will set up a deputy service team to be responsible for communication and coordination with relevant departments, enterprise problem mediation, information reporting, etc., and assist Jingxing Paper in handling various procedures for entering the area such as business license, planning permit, water extraction permit, environmental protection and fire protection review.
Headquartered in Pinghu, Jiaxing, Jingxing Paper has three main business divisions: industrial paper, household paper and packaging. In 2020, the company produced 1.2995 million tons of various types of packaging base paper and 49,100 tons of tissue paper base paper in Zhejiang, and the total production capacity of base paper in the company's headquarters was about 1.45 million tons. At present, Jingxing Paper Headquarters is building an annual output of 120,000 tons of high-grade household paper project, after the completion and production, the total production capacity of the headquarters of raw paper will reach 1.67 million tons, if the Jiangsu project is put into operation according to the plan, the total production capacity of the Jiangsu base will exceed the Zhejiang headquarters, becoming the largest production base of Jingxing Paper.
At the same time, Jingxing Paper is building a pulp and paper production project with an annual output of 1.4 million tons in Malaysia, the first phase is 800,000 tons of recycled fiber pulp project, and the second phase is a 600,000 tons packaging base paper project. At present, the construction of the first phase of the project has started, and the second phase of the basic works and public supporting facilities are also under construction.
