On November 2, the 12th Plenary (Expanded) Meeting of the Fifth Session of the Education Trade Union of Bao'an District of Shenzhen was successfully held. The meeting conscientiously studied and implemented the spirit of the Seventh Party Congress of Bao'an District, the First Session of the Seventh People's Congress of Bao'an District, and the First Session of the Sixth CPPCC Session of Bao'an District, comprehensively summarized the work of the District Education Trade Union from January to October this year, and deployed and implemented the work tasks in the next stage.
Huang Minqiong, full-time deputy secretary of the Education Working Committee of the Bao'an District Party Committee and member of the Party Group of the District Education Bureau, and Chen Guoxin, a second-level researcher of the District Education Bureau and chairman of the District Education Trade Union, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Chen Guoxin made a theme report on "Building Dreams and Striving for a New Journey", summarizing the work from January to October 2021 and deploying the main work in the next stage.
He pointed out that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and it is also the year in which the Bao'an District Education Trade Union bravely became the vanguard of Shenzhen's pioneering demonstration trade union, and the year of the conclusion of the Fifth Committee of the Bao'an District Education Trade Union.
This year, Cheng Xianyou, principal of Bao'an Middle School (Group), was awarded the "May Day Labor Medal of Guangdong Province", Chen Guoxin, a second-level researcher of the District Education Bureau and chairman of the Education Trade Union, and Yuan Weixing, principal of the high school of Xin'an Middle School (Group), were awarded the "Shenzhen May Day Labor Medal". On July 23, on behalf of Bao'an District, the Bao'an District Teachers' Art Troupe participated in the Shenzhen Municipal Party Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party "Singing Praises to the Party" Party Members Mass Song Contest, and the program "On the Golden Mountain of Beijing" won the gold award, and the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee sent a letter of thanks to the Bao'an District Committee to praise the cast members and staff who participated in the song party. On October 18, the Bao'an District Teachers' Choir participated in the Shenzhen First Employee Music Festival and the 2021 Shenzhen Employee Choir Competition Finals, and the participating programs "Loushan Guan" and "Tribute to Youth Tribute chorus" won the gold medal. The poem "Dream of the Bay Area - Singing for the Work of the Bao'an Education Trade Union in 2020" written by Chen Guoxin, chairman of the Bao'an District Education Trade Union, was once again published in the state-level journal "Chinese Teachers" in charge of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and the advanced experience of the Bao'an Education Trade Union has once again received widespread attention and praise.
It has been learned that the Bao'an District Education Trade Union held a series of activities for teachers and staff in Bao'an District to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and "Seven Hundred" activities. A number of faculty training courses and seminars were held, benefiting more than 2,000 faculty members. At the same time, the Bao'an District Faculty and Staff Legal Consultation and Assistance Service Center opened a service hotline and campus activities, and by the end of October, a total of more than 500 legal consultation and assistance service hotlines had been received. Emphasis has been placed on promoting the formation of trade unions in public kindergartens and new schools (kindergartens). By the end of October, it had guided the formation of more than 400 trade unions, approved 396 documents, and built 133 new grass-roots trade union organizations, continuing to maintain the good results of 100% membership of teachers and staff in the education system.
