Among them, the power generation in the eastern region increased by 11.3% year-on-year, an increase of 0.7 percentage points over January to August; in September, the power generation increased by 16.9% year-on-year, an increase of 8.2 percentage points over August, and the growth rate showed a significant acceleration momentum, effectively supporting the electricity demand in the northeast region.

It is understood that in 1978, Inner Mongolia's power generation was 3.8 billion kWh, accounting for only 1.1% of the country. In the 43 years of reform and opening up, Inner Mongolia's power generation has increased by an average annual rate of 12.7%, which is 4.8 percentage points higher than the national growth rate.
