Wang Chen, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and president of the China Law Society, conducted research and attended the "2021 Grassroots Tour of Rule of Law Culture for Young Volunteers to Popularize The Law" in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, on May 19. During the investigation, Wang Chen came to the Prince Town Police Station in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, the Prince Town Ice and Snow Town and the National Ski Jumping Center to listen to the introduction of the rule of law publicity work and understand the legal guarantee in the Zhangjiakou Competition Area of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games. At the Dongning Street Community Service Center, inspect the progress of the construction of the grass-roots rule of law cultural front, and positively evaluate the results achieved in telling the rule of law story and improving the level of community governance. At the First Primary School of the Economic Development Zone, we investigated the activities of the school's rule of law garden, watched the "Red Scarf Law School" moot court, and affirmed the innovative measures taken to enhance the rule of law awareness and rule of law literacy of young people.
Wang Chen pointed out that the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core attaches great importance to strengthening the concept of rule of law of the whole people and strengthening the construction of socialist rule of law culture, and has made major arrangements. Wang Chen stressed that it is necessary to deeply study, publicize and implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, combine the study and publicity of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law with the work of popularizing the law, give play to the role of all kinds of grass-roots legal popularization positions, and do a good job in integrating Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law into teaching materials, classrooms, and minds. The relevant responsible persons of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, the Chinese Law Society, the Ministry of Justice, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the responsible comrades of Hebei Province participated in the research and discussion, and all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities simultaneously held the "2021 Youth Law Popularization Volunteer Rule of Law Culture Grassroots Tour" launch activity on the same day.
