Mauritius will open for international tourism in mid-July, with the first phase allowing visitors to enjoy a hotel-style holiday on the island from 15 July to 30 September, and the second phase, from 1 October, with vaccinated tourists providing a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 72 hours of departure for unrestricted entry into Mauritius. For visitors, start by admiring the rich tourist resources of Mauritius, which is surrounded by coral reefs and has a variety of landscapes, beaches, islands, mountains and various nature reserves.
As an island holiday destination, Mauritius is home to romantic white sand beaches and interesting islands. Located on the west coast of Mauritius, Fliccon-Flac White Sand Beach is home to a variety of corals, sea urchins and shells, and the turquoise-like natural lagoon is a natural swimming pool that is popular with tourists. In addition to the sea, sandy beaches and islands, Mauritius has unique natural resources. For example, Mauritius' only national park, the Black River Valley National Park, includes areas such as highland forests, lowland forests and swampy wastelands. Mount Black River is the highest peak in Mauritius, and the park has hiking trails of different lengths, the most attractive scenic spots are the Black River Mountain Waterfall and the Seven Colored Earth. The Seven Colored Earth Scenic Area is the only area in the world with more than seven colors of soil at the same time, and it can be reached by driving into the park, passing through Shamar Waterfall, and walking three or four kilometers. The largest waterfall in Mauritius, Charmar Falls is spectacular, surrounded by greenery and pristine natural beauty.
