Song Jin, male, born in August 1963 in Pei County, Jiangsu Province, graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University and now lives in Guangzhou. Immersed in calligraphy, seal engraving research and creation, he has studied under Wang Donghua, Gong Bo, Xie Mo, Fang Hanqing, Zhang Huanxue and other masters, and graduated from the calligraphy class of China Correspondence University of Calligraphy and Painting. He is now a national first-class calligrapher, a member of the Guangzhou Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, the president of the Mozhidao Academy, a director of the Guangdong Hailing Island Artists Association, a director of the Jinan Taishan Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and a director of the China Huaxia Wanli Traveling Calligraphers and Painters Association.
The characteristics of his calligraphy works are new and changeable, inheriting the brushwork of the two kings, and learning mi fu and Zhao Mengfu at the same time, the brushwork is smooth and thick, which has both the clumsiness of the ancients and the beauty of modernity. His works have participated in many domestic and foreign calligraphy and seal engraving competitions and won various awards.
In particular, a Fu character is sought after in the land of Southern Guangdong and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and is loved and collected by celebrities and the government, and is known as the first Fu character in Southern Guangdong. During the peaceful exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, he received high praise from all walks of life in Taiwan for sending the character "Fu" and was collected by the Chinese Women's Federation of the Kuomintang in Taiwan.
His jade carving seal carving is also well-known, and his jade carving work "Boy" is collected by the Chinese-American writer Zhao Jiesheng.
