Hangzhou, July 7 (China News Network) -- A few days ago, the dramatic work "Hello, Sorrow" directed by director Meng Jinghui was premiered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Huang Xiangli, a versatile girl in the drama, challenged a 100-minute one-man show in the play, playing a well-behaved, violent and uneasy 17-year-old girl.

It is reported that the drama "Hello, Sorrow" is based on the novel of the same name by French writer Françoise Sagan. The novel "Hello, Sorrow" is about the young girl Cecil who is romantic and uninhibited, living a ridiculous life with her father, who is also a prodigal son, and she also tries to obstruct the marriage of raymond, her widower's father for many years, and her girlfriend Anna, and devises a ruse. But what the young girl did not expect was that her painstaking plan was exchanged for the sorrow and confusion of her first taste in life.

"Hello, Sorrow" expresses the mentality of a generation of young people in France in the simplest and brightest language, and the image of Cécile, a fallen girl, has become a representative of the "rebellious" French youth after the war. In this adaptation, director Meng Jinghui put "Hello, Sorrow" on the stage of Chinese drama, replacing the French lightness and melancholy in the original work with humor and grotesqueness, and amplifying the complex psychological activities of the protagonist, expressing the rebellion of youth and the cruelty of love in the original work.

What is more worth mentioning is that Huang Xiangli has transformed from a "strange woman" in "A Letter from a Strange Woman" in 2013 to a beast-like "little devil" today, wearing a black dress and carrying a pair of black wings on the stage, showing the black and white sides of a naïve girl. At the same time, in the play "Hello, Sorrow", Huang Xiangli alone completed the songwriting and composing and arranging of 20 songs, and played and sang herself in the play, integrating the inner musical poetry of the work with drama and stage.

It is reported that the drama "Hello, Sorrow" continued to perform at the Hangzhou Hive Theater from July 6 to 9. (End)
