@Museum Magazine Supplement:

The two red dots are the compound eyes of the nymphs inside, and the "mouth" is the egg breaker in the forehead, which is used to top the broken eggs. These pictures are not the same kind of bug because the shape of the egg breaker is different. Eggs that are quick to hatch will show these characteristics

ent: "It is only when an egg that is about to hatch will show these characteristics", meaning that it will immediately go through such a process...

Palomena prasina (red-tailed bug, common in Europe). The eggs look like this:

(Well, it's actually like this)

But after growing up, it was like this...

Everyone avoided it, and it was so cute when I was a child

(The above three pictures are from andy newman)

(Yes, the last one is doing what you think they're doing)

Odorous glandular pores, which can secrete odorous liquid, volatilize into odorous gas in the air,

In fact, nymphs are also quite cute

Bug family

The family Pterophoridae pentatomidae; Stinkbug Hemiptera 1 family. Formerly known as bugs. Such insects have stinky glandular holes, which can secrete odorous liquid and volatilize into odorous gas in the air, so there are common names such as fart worms, bed bugs, and stinky big sisters. About 500 species are known in China.

The host is mainly harmful to rice, but also wheat, millet, corn, sugarcane, beans, potatoes, citrus and so on.

For the characteristics of the pest, the nymphs suck the sap of the rice stem, leaf and ear, and the macula is produced in the affected area, and the tillering and development are severely inhibited, resulting in the death of the whole plant. In recent years, with the changes in the ecological environment of farmland and the change of crop layout, the pest of this insect has increased year by year.

Indyna nymphs have a brown head and thorax, a yellowish-brown or purple-red abdomen, a red node, and a reddish brown spot on the abdomen and dorsal area, with a body length of 1.3 mm.
