The armyworm board is not only cheap and good in the control of pests, but also the best choice for many farmers and friends in the control of pests. The sticky insect board mainly uses the insects' attraction characteristics for color, coated with special glue on plastic plates or paper plates of different colors, and makes trapping agricultural tools that can stick to the insects through processing, and physically traps the pests. The two common armyworm boards on the market are yellow plate and blue plate, the most widely used is the yellow plate, which can trap melon, fruit and vegetable flies, tea small green leafhoppers, whiteflies and other pests, and the blue board is mainly to trap thrips pests, of course, there are many other armyworm boards on the market, such as tea small green leafhopper trap boards. So there are so many armyworm boards on the market, which one has a better effect on pest control?
In order to provide reference suggestions to farmers and friends, Xiao Ai experimented with agricultural tools such as yellow plates and blue plates from different manufacturers, and made pros and cons analysis respectively. Let's go and see how the trial goes!
Teacher Xiao Ai made the test results more objective, and selected three different manufacturers of blue plates, yellow plates and other armyworm boards for test analysis, and carried out field operation and suspension in the liangjiang, wutong and two sugar orange bases according to the use methods on the instructions.
First of all, let's look at the experiment of the blue plate, the main pest of the blue plate is the thrips.
From the figure we can see that most of the pests adhering to the blue plate of the Ekoman family are larvae and adults of thrips, and after checking the statistics, it is found that there are about 250-350 pests on both sides, and the thrips stuck in the blue plate can be clearly seen by zooming in; the blue plate of the needle sticky series is also glued with dense pests, and the figure of the thrips can be found after enlargement, but the pests that appear on the blue plate are not only thrips, non-target pests also account for the majority.
If we look more closely, the edge of the needle sticky blue plate is affected by rain erosion, and there is water seepage at the edge. Looking at the right figure, we can also find that the blue plate of the needle stick series is more difficult to tear the glue before use, indicating that it is easier to stick the hand when hanging, and we will enlarge the blue plate to see (the following figure), careful observation can also find that the glue on the blue plate is unevenly distributed.
After looking at the comparison of the effects of the blue plate, let's take a look at the test of the yellow plate.
The first picture on the left is the yellow plate of the needle stick series, and after careful observation, we did not find any traces of the target pest fly on the yellow plate. Then we then looked at the two yellow plates next to it that were yo machines, and after careful observation and magnification, we found that there was a target pest real fly on both sticky worm boards. The following figure is the test situation of the Ekoman yellow plate, the main pests of the ekoman yellow board are aphids, whiteflies, beetle pests and so on. From the picture, we can see that although there are many pests densely packed on the yellow board, no target pests have been found.
The last to be tested was the needle sticky series tea small green leafhopper trap plate, as its name suggests, the pest of booby trap is tea small green leafhopper. From the figure, we can see that the pests on the sticky worm board are compared with the previous several armyworm boards, and the pests on the needle sticky series tea small green leafhopper trap board are not so dense, but the pests on the sticky worm board are mostly target pests. So we roughly counted the target pests on the sticky worm board between 100 and 149. However, from the right figure, we found that the edge of the needle sticky series tea small green leafhopper trap plate also had a phenomenon of water leakage, and during the test process, it was found that the sticky worm plate was easy to fall off when the wind was blowing.
From the experimental effect, the Ikoman blue plate and the needle sticky blue plate have a good booby trap effect on the citrus flower thrips, but I personally feel that the Icoman blue plate has certain advantages in the use of the process. First of all, in the trap of thrips, the pests stuck to the blue plate of Ikoman are basically the larvae and adults of thrips, and few other pests appear, which is enough to show that its target pest is very clear, on the other hand, its service life will be longer; secondly, Ekman's blue plate rubber surface is relatively smooth, easy to tear, not sticky, so it is more convenient to use, you can hang first, and then tear glue; again, the edge of the needle sticky series of products is easy to seep water, and Icoman's blue board is still strongly viscous after being washed by rainwater.
Judging from the test effects of the three sets of tests of the yellow plate, the yellow plate of the needle sticking series, the yellow plate of the you machine and the yellow plate of the ikoman yellow plate, there is 1 target pest in the two yellow plates of the needle sticky series, and the target pest is not found in the yellow plate of the needle stick series and the yellow plate of Icoman, and the specific reason may be that the high incidence of the insect pest has not reached the high incidence period. There is no comparable product in this test, which can only mean that the product has a good effect on the target pest.
As we mentioned earlier, the use of armyworm plates to trap insects is a kind of physical control, in fact, in the way of pest control, there are chemical control and biological control. The three methods have advantages and disadvantages, chemical control is mainly through chemical pesticides for prevention and control, the effect is fast, immediate, but it is easy to cause pollution, and it is necessary to carefully consider the safety of drug use to avoid drug harm; biological control is mainly through biological means such as the use of natural enemies to control insects, no pollution, no agricultural harm but slow effect, has not been well popularized; and physical control is pollution-free, the effect is visible but labor-intensive, and it is not easy to completely solve the problem of insect pests.
In fact, no matter which way, as long as the traces left by insect pests are found in the orchard, we should promptly control the insect pests in the orchard according to the actual situation of the orchard and the different degrees of harm of the insect pests at each stage, and must not allow their development to lead to greater harm or even outbreak. In the final analysis, when insect pests occur, we must do a good job in prevention and control in a timely manner, and we must do a good job in prevention when they do not occur, and adhere to the plant protection policy of "prevention first, prevention and control combined"!
