
Ant-egrets are birds of the order Plover, family Woodpecker, and bird of the genus Ants. It inhabits broad-leaved or mixed forest trees in low hills and foothill plains. Loved the solo activities. It feeds on ants, with a long tongue, hooked ends and mucus that can reach into tree holes or nests for feeding. It is widely distributed in Eurasia.
