The beauty of the yellow front is ever-changing, and the subspecies of the yellow front are divided into: black belly, Brinell, and picture.
The origin of yellow is divided into: Hainan, Guangxi, Vietnam (provided by Guiyou: Myanmar, Laos and other places are also distributed).
Among them: Bushi is distributed in central Vietnam, the pictures are distributed in southern Vietnam, and the black belly is distributed in northern Vietnam, Hainan and Guangxi. (These yellow-fronted distribution areas have another species of half-water turtle: saw edges, so it is also common to see hybridized individuals of yellow-fronted and saw-edges in the wild.)
It is easy to distinguish between black belly, Brinell, pictures, there is no need to say more here, Baidu who does not understand find a few pictures to see it, and now start to get back to the truth: talk about the difference between Hainan yellow forehead and Vietnamese yellow forehead (hereinafter referred to as: sea forehead, Vietnamese forehead).
Yellow-fronted turtle species is not a single color, the body size, flower color is changeable, there is no absoluteness, no regularity, so the current sea forehead is not listed as an independent subspecies.
The method of distinguishing between sea and over-the-forehead cannot rely on a single point of view, but should be analyzed from many aspects: head stripes, flesh color, body shape, dorsal stripes, and abdominal nails.
Here's how:
Head stripes: black abdomen with head stripes, the more forehead stripes are clearer and more obvious than the sea forehead stripes, the sea forehead stripes are mostly relatively dull black spots, black spots, such as clear sesame dots, leopard print heads, generally can be judged as yue. Special individuals are not excluded. The following 3 pictures, the first head tattoo black dot is the sea forehead, the second head tattoo is clear and numerous is the forehead, the third is more special, the head print is close to the leopard print head, at first glance like the head print of the forehead, but the head print color is not very heavy, so it is the sea forehead.
Flesh color: This point is only suitable for the yellow forehead with heavy body color and impure flesh color, if you see a yellow forehead flesh color (neck) with a flesh color similar to peddles and freckles, you can judge that it is over-the-forehead. As shown in the following figure:
Body type: The larger the frontal body is changeable, high, low, round individuals have, but the sea forehead generally does not have a large high back, the sea frontal body size is relatively smooth but not high, so if you see the black belly of the high back, you can basically judge it as a cross-forehead.
Back pattern: there are many back patterns, sea forehead back pattern characteristics: smooth lines, clean and clear, no pedica, freckles, some will have clear and slightly larger black spots; more frontal back lines: the line is not smooth, some have pedestal, disorganized. Example 1: Radioactive large coarse lines, lines as thick and smooth as brush words, and there are no pedestal spots around the periphery, dark spots must be the forehead, as shown in the following figure:

3: The dorsal stripe is a radial stripe, the radial stripe is not smooth and there are many pedema points, it must be a cross-forehead. As shown in the following figure:
4: The back lines are all pedant points, and disorganized, must be over the forehead, as shown in the following figure:
5: As shown in the following figure: the back stripe is radial, the grain is disorganized, not smooth, the fine lines are intermittent, there are a small number of phogands, it is a cross.

7, because the individual differences in the yellow forehead are too large, so there are many without dorsal stripes, or the characteristics of dorsal stripes are not obvious, can not only rely on dorsal stripes to judge, to synthesize several factors together to analyze. Abdominal nails: abdominal nails can only be used as one of the criteria for judging, most of the frontal abdominal carapace is pure black, most of the sea frontal abdominal carapace is not pure black, but there will be some special cases, such as: the pigment is relatively heavy on the sea front, the abdominal carapace will also be pure black. There are a small number of transfrontal abdominal nails that are not pure black, so it is not enough to look at the abdominal nails, and it is necessary to combine the above points.

The head lines are mostly clear for yue, and the radiation is clear for the sea;
Encounter pedant points are more than the more, no lines on the shell to see the whole;
