At this year's Shanghai Film Festival, a total of 15 works were shortlisted for the main competition unit of the Golden Jubilee Award, of which three Chinese films were shortlisted: "Desperate and Dangerous" starring Dapeng and Ou Hao, "Hometown Heart" directed by Qin Hailu, and "Spring Tide" starring Hao Lei and Jin Yanling.

The host revealed that director Qin Hailu said that when filming "Homesickness", one day it was filmed until more than 2 a.m., and Chang Lao drank a little wine after he returned, because he thought that the scene of that day was the heaviest scene, a little stressful, and it was relieved after filming. After acting for more than 70 years, Chang Feng still attaches so much importance to a role and a play. The host said that he looked forward to Chang Lao's continued acting and returning to Shanghai to open a centennial banquet.
Directed by Qin Hailu for the first time and written by Yang Xiaoli, starring Chang Feng, Ge Lei, Lei Kesheng, Liang Dani, Sang Mingsheng, Song Shaoqing, Qu Zhongheng, Yang Jiemei and Yan Qin, the film "Homesickness" was screened during the 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival, and held a post-screening meeting and press conference.
On the day of the screening, what made the audience most happy was that the male protagonist of the film, Chang Feng, the 96-year-old Chinese-speaking film emperor, also took the stage with other creators and interacted with fans at zero distance. After being asked why he had been filming for many years, he decided to go out of the mountain to play the male number one for Qin Hailu's directorial debut, and Chang Feng humorously revealed the interesting facts of cooperation: "I was born in 1923, born in Harbin, northeast China, I am now so old, still mixing in the new era, I feel very ashamed. This play gave me the opportunity to know director Qin Hailu, and after we first met, she said to me: 'Although this script has not yet been written, I have long booked that you will play the role of Jiang Sheng, and I will see you pleasing to the eye.' Talking about the decision to star in the film, Chang Feng did not forget to joke: "After I got this script, not only did this script make me like it, but I also liked the role of Jiang Sheng." "Hometown Heart" will be released nationwide on September 12, as Qin Hailu's directorial debut, it is the second part of the "Homecoming Trilogy" created by Qin Hailu after writing and starring in "Six Hundred Miles to Fuyang".
In terms of other awards at this year's Shanghai Film Festival, the best film went to "Castle of Dreams"; 96-year-old Chinese actor Chang Feng ("Homesickness") and Iranian actor Hamad Behad ("Castle of Dreams") won the film emperor; salome demuria won the film queen for "Between Breaths"; the Chinese film "Spring Tide" won the best cinematography; and Masaaki Yuasa won the best animation for "If I Could Ride the Waves with You".
