Because his father Fan Meisheng was a Shaw star, Fan Shaohuang began to contact movies when he was a child.

In 1976, 4-year-old Fan Shaohuang participated in the filming of the movie "The French Open Is Difficult to Escape", thus starting his own acting path. In 1985, 13-year-old Fan Shaohuang first entered the screen of kung fu films and collaborated with Shaw's veteran star Dillon on "Teaching Hair Wei".

This "Teaching Hair Wei" is the first kung fu film work starring Fan Shaohuang. The film's fight scene design is excellent, bringing together a large number of powerful stars such as Dillon, Wang Yu, Qian Xiaohao, Hu Huizhong, Chen Huimin and so on.

Fan Shaohuang opened his own kung fu film acting path because of this "Teaching Hair Wei". But Dillon, because of the film, went to layoff and unemployment. Today, we will talk about Fan Shaohuang's first kung fu film, which is also the final work of the Dillon Shaw film era, released in 1985's "Teaching Hair Wei".

At the end of the 1970s, with the popularity of "Drunken Fist", kung fu comedies began to take off.

However, in the early 1980s, with the proliferation of themes, a variety of kung fu films emerged in an endless stream. In order to attract the audience, Shaw director Sun Zhong, imitating the Japanese sword film "Wolf with a Belt", designed a story of a chivalrous guest with a young child and a journey through the rivers and lakes.

At the same time, director Sun Zhong also combined many Western elements with kung fu films. So on the big screen of the Hong Kong film in 1985, this "Teaching Hair Wei" appeared.

And 13-year-old Fan Shaohuang also played the role of the male protagonist's son "Tong Xiaofeng" in this "Teaching Hair Wei".

At the beginning of the movie, the head of the film, Tong Tiezheng, takes his son Tong Xiaofeng to a place called "Phoenix Town". As soon as the two arrived in the town, they were stopped by the local catchers.

The town's catcher told the Tong father and son that the thieves who had recently been making trouble in the mountains and the people who passed by in the town should be strictly investigated.

After his mother's death, Tong Xiaofeng has been putting his mother's tablet in the bag. As a result, during the interrogation, the tablets were broken by the arrested fast people, and Xiao Feng also had a dispute with the catcher.

At this time, the headhunter Jin Bu changed in Tong Tiezheng's baggage and found two letters. It turned out that Tong Tiezheng was the chief soldier of the Green Battalion, Lord Huang, and invited the head of the instructor. Therefore, the golden catcher released the two people.

The Tong father and son left the county court and came to the green camp. Tong Tiezheng learned from Huang Zongbing that the town's headhunter Jin was not changed and was a cousin to the governor of Liangjiang.

With this layer of relationship, Jin did not change his ways in the town, but also took advantage of his rights and interests to start a tavern and a green building. Many of the soldiers in the green camp were also addicted to alcohol, which made the military slack. The purpose of Huang Zongbing's invitation to the head of the Tong Sect was to rectify military affairs.

The head of the tongjiao went to the "Apricot Blossom Building" of the Qinglou that did not change the gold and found that almost all the customers were Green Camp soldiers. In order not to let the soldiers look for flowers and ask for willows, the head of the Tong Sect ordered that the soldiers of the Green Battalion should not go out for three months.

The ban of the head of the tongjiao made the "apricot blossom building" that could not be changed become a cold business. In order to return the color, Jin bu set a trap, slandered Xiao Feng, the son of the head of the Tong Sect, and stole the jade pendant of his classmates in the academy.

The design of this bridge section is somewhat similar to the plot of the six sons eating cold powder in "Let the Bullets Fly".

Jin did not want to use this as a threat to let the head of the Tongjiao lift the ban on the Green Camp. Unexpectedly, the head of the TongJiao did not eat this set, and also let Jin not change his business.

Tong Jiao's head rebelled against the first army, so that Jin did not change a little embarrassed, if it was really a heavy punishment, hurting the face of the green battalion general, his own head catcher is not easy to account. Therefore, Jin did not change and asked Tong Xiaofeng to apologize to his classmates.

In order to calm things down, the head of the tongjiao asked his son to apologize. Tong Xiaofeng insisted that he was innocent, but the head of the Tong Sect still forced his son to apologize. Seeing that his father did not preside over justice for himself, Xiao Feng and the head of the Tong Sect also quarreled.

After arguing with his son, Tong Jiaotou went to the restaurant to drink alcohol, and while drinking, he complained about the difficulty of taking his son to wander the rivers and lakes. At this time, Honggu, the manager of the "Apricot Blossom Building", was touched by the words of the head of the TongJiao.

After the death of Honggu's parents, she also took her brother to wander the rivers and lakes, and she was well aware of the bitterness of the head of the Tongjiao, so she came forward to comfort her.

Under the conversation, the two met and hated each other late, and drank wine to drink. At this time, the head of the county court's chai catcher passed by, and he ridiculed the head of the tongjiao for not letting the soldiers leave the camp, but he spent the day drinking.

Taking advantage of the fact that the head of the TongJiao was drunk, Chai Hunttou wanted to take the opportunity to sneak attack, but he was not the opponent of the Tongjiao leader, but was injured.

In order to avenge his nephew, Jin did not change his nephew, Jin did not change to Huang Zongbing to file a complaint, but also acted according to law and arrested the head of the TongJiao.

Huang Zongbing wanted to protect the head of the child education, but Jin did not change his aggressiveness, and also said: either act according to the law or return the injury with an injury.

In order not to embarrass Huang Zongbing, tong jiaotou self-harmed and made reparations to Chai Tou. After this incident, the relationship between tong jiao and Jin bu has also reached the point where water and fire are intolerable.

Although the "ban on camps" was issued, many soldiers still took advantage of the night to escape from the barracks and go to the qinglou in the town to live happily. Chen Jin, a soldier of the Green Battalion, has a long-term relationship with Xiao juan, a woman in the Qinglou Building, and secretly marries a beaded fetus. In order to save the child, Chen Jin decided to take Xiaojuan to elope.

Unexpectedly, the whereabouts of the two were discovered by Jin Buchang, Xiaojuan was killed by Jin Buchang's men and horses, and Chen Jin was also sent back to the Green Camp after a violent beating.

For deserters, according to the military order, they should be beheaded, but the head of the Tong Sect pleaded with Huang Zongbing and saved Chen Jin's life. Huang Zongbing was worried that the long-term ban on the camp would lead to another incident of desertion, so he lifted the ban.

After the ban ended, Jin buchang thought that the business of the Qinglou would resume as before.

Unexpectedly, Xiao Juan was killed and Chen Jin was beaten, which angered the soldiers of the Green Battalion. Everyone refused to patronize the Qinglou, which did not change the gold. Seeing that there were no guests, Jin did not think that it was the head of the tongjiao who obstructed it.

At this time, the little prince began to read, and Duke Chen of Ouchi passed through Fenghuang Town, hoping to find a small eunuch to accompany the prince. Jin Buchang seized this opportunity and captured Tong Xiaofeng and dedicated it to Duke Chen as a candidate for the crown prince's reading companion.

In order to save his son, the head of the Tong Sect found Chen Gonggong and hoped that he would spare his son, but he angered Chen Gonggong.

Seeing that Gonggong Chen was about to take Xiaofeng away, Jin buchang told the head of the Tong Sect that he had a way to save Tong Xiaofeng, but as a condition, the head of the Tong Sect had to bow to himself and admit his mistake, and he also had to resign from the position of the head of the church and leave Phoenix Town.

In order to save his son, the head of the Tong Sect agreed to the condition that Jin would not be changed. Four days later, Jin buchang released Tong Xiaofeng back. Although the people were released, Tong Xiaofeng was "castrated" by Jin Buchang.

Seeing his son being tortured by this, the head of the tongjiao was furious. In the end, the head of the Tong Sect rushes into the county court and fights with Jin Buchang, and while hand-bladed the enemy, the story also comes to an end.

This "Teaching Hair Wei", in the performance of the camera, has a strong Western style. The story structure of the film is also very consistent with the design of the Western, in which the cowboy comes to a remote town, forms a grudge with the local "land snake", and then punishes the adulterer and eliminates the evil.

In the film, director Sun Zhong imitates the Japanese film "Wolf with a Son", and designs the protagonist of the story as a chivalrous guest who wanders the rivers and lakes with his son. Such a character setting was also used by Wang Jingyan in the 90s to shoot "New Shaolin Five Ancestors".

In the mid-1980s, the kung fu film market began to decline.

Although the fight design of this "Teaching Hair Wei" is excellent, and Hu Huizhong, Qian Xiaohao, Chen Huimin, Wang Yu and other people are invited to help and make cameos, the box office results after the release are very unsatisfactory.

In 1985, "Teaching Hair" was released in Hong Kong and only received more than 1.1 million Hong Kong dollars.

The fact that the box office performance is so dismal is on the one hand the reason for the decline of the market, and on the other hand, it is also related to the production of the film itself.

In the first half of this "Teaching Hair Wei", director Sun Zhong designed a lot of comedy bridges, obviously intending to make the film into a kung fu comedy. It's only in the second half that the story design suddenly becomes tragic. The sudden change in the style of the story before and after also caused the film to suffer a lot of controversy.

Of course, the main reason for the cold box office of "Teaching Hair" is the decline of the kung fu film market in the mid-80s.

Because of the decline of the market, Shaw Films chose to close in the mid-80s. After this "Teaching Hair" film, Dillon was fired by Shaw, thus ending his "Shaw film" era. After 1986's "North and South Shaolin", Shaw Film also chose to discontinue production.

The once brilliant "Shaw Film" also came to an end at this time.

It is worth mentioning that after being dismissed by Shaw in 1985, Dillon also fell into a period of career trough. But in 1986, the Shaw star made a magnificent turn with a "Hero's True Colors" and ushered in the second spring of his film career.
