According to the New York Post, on Saturday (April 17), around 3 a.m., a man and a woman fought in Washington Square Park in lower Manhattan, New York City, and a 21-year-old man stepped forward to try to mediate. But he was knocked to the ground by the man, who held him down and was slashed by the man with a knife to the elbow and back, and then the man and the woman fled quickly.
It is reported that the 21-year-old man who was stabbed was then sent to The Watchwi Hospital, and after treatment, the injury has stabilized.
According to police, the man and the woman were around 30 years old.
