Master OfFirst

[In his kingdom, there are no gods and sentient beings such as violent evil medicine forks, and all evil phases are hidden; and the life color power such as the King of the Siddhi Empowerment is free of disease and self-enrichment. 】

This passage is to say that in the land of the king who provides for the Medicine Buddha and the practitioner Dharma, there are no violent medicine fork ghosts and gods to disturb sentient beings, and all the unlucky and evil appearances will disappear, and the bad omens will disappear and be auspicious everywhere. And because the king practiced the Medicine Master Dharma Gate, his life expectancy and the strength of his body were increased, and he was free from illness.

So what is a medicine fork?

Medicine fork, old translation as night fork. It means to be able to ghost, to be quick, to be brave, to be light, to be secret.

In the "All Sutras and Sounds", it is said that the reason why the medicine fork is called a ghost is because it can eat people.

In the Fahua Xuanzan, it is said: Night Fork, translated as Yongjian. It can soar in the air, and it also contains those who run on the earth. Rakshasa means violent and fearsome. However, both the medicine fork and the rakshasa are just false sounds, and the Sanskrit word is called the medicine fork rakshasas.

In the Commentary on the Vimala Sutra, it is said: Master Rosh said: Night fork means light and swift. There are three kinds: one on earth, one in the void, and one in the heavens and nights.

The Great Nikkei says that the reason why the West calls the Night Fork a secret is because they are extremely quick in body and mind, and it is difficult to know the secret.

Speaking of the disturbance of the tyrannical demon god, here is the story of His Holiness the Sariputta:

His Holiness the Sariputta and His Holiness the Mukhonlian practiced in the Jain Mountains.

On this day, Sharif had just shaved his head and settled down in the mountains.

There happens to be a Yoboga ghost and a Gaya ghost walking together.

One of them, the Upanishads suddenly had evil thoughts and wanted to hit His Holiness the Sariputta on the head.

It told its companions what it thought, and the Gaya ghost hurried to stop it.

Unfortunately, it does not heed advice and insists on going its own way.

It punched his holiness in the head as he was settling.

This punch shook the mountain straight, and the birds and beasts in the mountain were all shocked.

His Holiness, who was meditating not far away, hurried over to see what was happening.

It just so happened that he saw a large crack suddenly open in the middle of the earth, and from the crack of the earth a fiery flame rolled towards the Upanishads.

The Yoboga ghost only had time to shout for his companions to save it, and before he could finish speaking, he was swept into the crack.

The earth instantly returned to its original form, as if nothing had happened just now, and the Yoboga ghost had already fallen directly into the hell of A-Na.

Before the Gaya ghost could react, he saw that the earth had returned to its original state, and it had to leave in tears.

When His Holiness arrived, he did not take care of the ghost of Gaya and hurried forward to check on His Holiness the Sariputta.

Only to see His Holiness the Sariputta slowly settle down, but he felt that his head was slightly painful, and he did not know what had just happened.

His Holiness told the story and sighed, "Sariputta, your merit is incredible! You know, if the Upanishads hit the Jain Mountain with their bare hands, they can smash the mountain to dust with one punch. It's great that you're hit by it and still be safe. ”

When the Buddha learned of this, he said to his disciples, "The heart of the Sariputta is as unshakable as a strong stone, he has been free from all kinds of tainted hearts, and he has not paid any attention to the anger of sentient beings. ”

The disciples rejoiced when they heard it, believing and practicing it.

From this, we can see that the meritorious power of practicing the Dharma can indeed be free from the harm of violent demons and gods, and the experience of His Holiness the Sariputta is a good example.
